09/06/2026: The welcome was excellent; without being pushy, they were always attentive and offered great advice on both food and wine. The Argentinian Black Angus beef was perfect. The tiramisu was okay. A cozy place, really lovely.

29/05/2026: It's my first time in Puglia, a beautiful region. I've visited the entire coast from Otranto to Porto Cesareo, but one evening I decided to spend an evening at Locanda dei Camini in Botrugno (LC), recommended by my nephew, a lover of raw fish—not fresh, but very fresh. I had a delightful evening, starting with the appetizer and ending with the main course, all fish-based, with a few dishes featuring grilled cuttlefish. Everything was excellent, but the Sicilian-style sea bream with tiny capers and local olives was truly exceptional. Yes, truly, I've never eaten as well as at this restaurant. Then it all went with an authentic, top-quality French champagne, and to finish, several semifreddos made with cream, pistachio, dark chocolate, and hazelnut spumoni—a true delight. It was a huge hit with the excellent product. Fantastic. I'll definitely be back. The service was impeccable. Thank you for your hospitality.

The restaurant is spacious, meaning you never feel crowded or too close to other tables. ​The Service: Staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and never intrusive. Their food and wine recommendations were spot on. ​The Food & Quality: Simply outstanding. The vegetables are farm-to-table (grown in the field next door), and both the pasta and desserts are strictly homemade. The veal steak we had on our second night was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouth. ​Value: The price-to-quality ratio is excellent. You get top-tier, authentic food at a very fair price. ​A special mention goes to Ms. Vera, the chef and owner, who went far beyond our expectations. If you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience this is the place to go!

26/05/2026: Two of us came and found a seat right away. The old man is a bit grumpy and makes a few off-color jokes, and the waiter disappears every now and then. The pizza was watery (the toppings seemed to be floating and ran off), although overall it was good. The location is nice only because the church is in front, but people walk by and there are lots of flies that land on and over the pizza.

03/06/2026: I had dinner with my wife. We ordered orecchiette with broccoli rabe, orecchiette with meatballs, and bombette pasta. We also ordered chicory and fava beans, which wasn't on the menu, and the very kind owner accommodated us. What can I say... the food tasted like homemade and so delicious we'd return. 07/06/2026: A well-deserved 5 stars for everything: excellent food, incredibly fresh ingredients, and the best fried food we've ever had—dry, crispy, and light. We then ordered linguine with sea urchins and shrimp tartare, one of the best dishes we've ever had, and we've been visiting countless places to eat. A special mention also goes to the service, the spotless bathrooms, and the attentive, helpful, yet unobtrusive staff. A truly positive experience. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area, although it would be worth the trip from Bari just to visit them again. Sincere compliments!

06/06/2026: We arrived a little late for lunch at this restaurant, relying on the opening hours we'd seen on Google (it actually doesn't have continuous hours). Despite this, we were greeted warmly and had a wonderful meal. The octopus balls (delicious) are especially noteworthy! The spaghetti with clams was also very good. Highly recommended! Both for the quality and deliciousness of the food and for the courtesy and kindness of the staff!

30/04/2026: The welcome was warm, with delicious amuse-bouches and a glass of prosecco. The food was fantastic, served by the chef. This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host Giancarlo, and rightly so! Go eat here if you love delicious and authentic (Italian) food and hospitality in an intimate atmosphere. Added later: we dined there as a couple.
