10/09/2025: A quiet place to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner. The two of us ordered the tasting menu of cooked and raw fish. I have a dairy protein intolerance, so they brought me an excellent alternative for each course. Everything was excellent: the quality of the dishes is superb, the atmosphere intimate and cozy, and the owner kind and attentive to every request. The wine list is excellent, a value not to be underestimated. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: A truly beautiful place in the countryside near Otranto. We went for lunch and had a wonderful meal: appetizers, first courses, and second courses, all cooked with passion and very tasty. Meticulous attention to detail, both inside and out, with eye-catching decorations and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in another country. It's comfortable, welcoming, and truly enjoyable: their real strength, in my opinion, is the unique atmosphere they've created. Furthermore, the youthful music in the background created a lively and dynamic atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening. The food is excellent, but the octopus sandwich deserves a special mention: simply delicious, absolutely worth trying. A dish that alone is worth the visit!

16/09/2025: A relaxed atmosphere and exceptional dishes. Ravioli with amberjack ragù, impeccable service, and the flavors are evidently all fresh and freshly cooked. Truly, congratulations!

08/09/2025: Amidst the beautiful alleys of Lecce's historic center, just steps from Porta Napoli, we had an interesting culinary experience at "Locanda del Ballerino." The interiors, in Lecce stone, are very charming, with a touch of modern design that never hurts. The dishes are classic Salento dishes, some of which have been reinterpreted with a modern twist by the chef. The portions are generous and a true pleasure. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The service could be improved in some areas: for example, we're not crazy about paper napkins, which we find impractical as they tend to spoil quickly. Additionally, we think they should always be served, without having to ask for them every time. They would certainly be appreciated. Good value for money. We recommend it!

25/08/2025: Not far from Lecce, this small restaurant has a lovely garden. The waitress was lovely, and we felt pampered from start to finish. The cuisine is excellent and refined. I highly recommend the tasting menu, which allows you to fully experience the chef's cuisine and the careful selection of ingredients. Very reasonable prices for fabulous food. Thank you, we'll be back as soon as we return to Puglia.

05/10/2025: I hadn't been back to this restaurant in a while, even though I had fond memories of it. Yesterday I decided to return, and I was even more thrilled. My husband and I ordered raw seafood (very fresh and delicate), a first course: pasta with sea urchins and red prawns (a delight for the palate, exquisite, fruity, and creamy), a fried prawn and calamari dish (equally delicious, golden brown and not rubbery), and a peach sorbet (delicious and delicate). The staff and owner were very kind and helpful. The location was welcoming, elegant, and intimate. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it.

03/09/2025: We had both pizza and grilled meat. The pizza was good and easy to digest, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender (which, being horse meat, isn't a given).

23/08/2025: On a hot, sultry evening, my group of friends and I decided to come and eat at this inn in the heart of Salento. We arrived at the location, punctual as Swiss clocks, ready to eat and savor delicious dishes. We chatted about getting a reserved table and waited, then waited, and waited...and waited...and wait, and wait again, and wait for an hour and a quarter. We waited the entire time, standing outside the door, sweating with the "faugno squajato" of an August evening. The clock struck 11:15 PM and they sat us down. They pretended nothing was happening, but our anger and dissatisfaction were already high. We sat down, tried to order, and were told we couldn't order half the dishes because they were sold out or the kitchen was starting to die. We settled for pizzas, which were good, but our taste buds were clouded by the already-determined reasons. The service left us dissatisfied; no apology from the management, much less any freebies to calm our nerves. We were disheartened and wondered why this affront and why us, we wondered why they made us book if there was no room. We try to forget, but the rush is so intense. The drinks arrive; we ask for Coca-Cola Zeros, but they arrive plain without any explanation; we ask for beers, but they arrive in installments and piping hot. Applause for the quick and delicious pizzas, both the dough and the toppings. At the end, a surprise: they offer us amaro. It wasn't enough, but we make do. In conclusion, it's a good place to eat, but I warn you: book at your own risk; the owners like to hype up the place and have people line up under the faugno. Kisses, kisses🌟🌟

Our guests were thrilled: the magical atmosphere, the delicious dishes, and the kindness of the staff made the day unforgettable for them too. For us, it was truly special to be able to experience such an important event without worries, knowing we were in the right hands.
