Spectacular pizza by the slice even if the wait is long, there aren't many tables because they are shared with other restaurants and people who finish eating stay there talking for hours without giving others the chance to sit down.

This was the best pizza I’ve had in Italy! The flavors were authentic and fresh. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and the location. Right in the heart of Lecce. The staff were super friendly and cool!

Kudos to the guys who work there! Delicious pizzas and a wide selection, and they're quickly refilled if they run out, giving everyone a chance to try them. Kudos to the guys for their endless patience, especially when dealing with a Saturday dinner rush with certain types of customers. The place is small inside, and you can't always find a table outside, but you can order takeout and eat it sitting in Piazzetta Santa Chiara or at a table. I highly recommend it, especially for the quality/price ratio, which, considering it's in the historic center, isn't bad at all—in fact, quite the opposite. The pizza with honey-marinated potatoes is definitely a must-try!

I love grabbing a slice of pizza at Il Pizzicotto in the heart of historic Lecce — it has the best crust and quality ingredients, like crispy bacon and buttery mushrooms. There are always delicious options and it can be hard to choose. And the service is always with a smile.

While the pizza cotto in Lecce has many fans, it wasn't quite to our taste – perhaps it's a matter of personal preference. During our trip, we ate pizza that we liked better, so it lacked the "wow" factor. It's worth trying and forming your own opinion, though.
