15/03/2026: If you're looking for a place to eat divinely and feel at home, you have to stop by Danilo Osteria Creativa. We went there for lunch and the welcome was top notch: Chef Danilo welcomed us immediately and introduced us to his world of Offishina, where he produces amazing artisanal fish cured meats, all made by himself. Unbelievable (and delicious)! At the table, he treated us as if we'd known each other all our lives, with a hand on his heart and a lot of warmth. We ordered a mix of meat and fish, and, boy, what can I say: the dishes were beautiful to look at, meticulously prepared down to the smallest detail, but above all, of incredible quality. And save room for dessert because they're homemade and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Last night, February 7th, we dined as a couple, and the impression was clear from the first bite: here, they don't interpret the concept of an osteria... they reinvent it. The restaurant's identity Chef Danilo, supported by his parents, pursues a culinary concept that combines roots and innovation with surprising ease. It's a family-friendly place, but with a contemporary soul. An osteria, yes, but with a forward-looking vision. The raw materials and the fish cured meats Fish is the absolute protagonist, treated with respect and creativity. The fish cured meats, produced by Danilo through his company Offishina, are a chapter in themselves: surprising, technical, intense. One of those things you don't expect, and that, once you try them, become a reference. The Cuisine Modern, striking, clean. Each dish seems to convey a precise idea, without unnecessary frills. The technique is there, but it never overwhelms the raw ingredients, which always remain at the center. The Overall Experience It's a cuisine that excites without being pretentious, that dares without losing the Salento identity. You leave feeling like you've discovered something new, yet profoundly authentic.

02/03/2026: My family and I have been regulars for years. The food and service far exceed the average of other sushi restaurants in the city. The quality of the fish and ingredients is top-notch (the wine selection is also excellent). The staff is truly exceptional: professional, friendly, and extremely attentive to treating each customer with the utmost care. In short, a place where passion and authenticity meet good food is a place I highly recommend (not just for the sushi, but also for the Italian menu). 09/12/2025: The atmosphere is small but welcoming, and the menu is unique but uses top-quality ingredients. The first time we ordered a house appetizer, excellent enough for two people, and two main courses. We had the tuna steak and the mixed grill, both excellent and plentiful. The second evening, we again had a starter, but with two first courses. The average cost for two people, including water, wine, and two coffees, was about €45.00. Highly recommended.

06/02/2026: Whenever we want to eat excellent pizza (the absolute best among all the pizzerias we've visited in Salento), and not just pizza, we come to Officine Birrai because everything is so good, plus the welcoming atmosphere makes us want to come back. And that's what we do consistently.

26/02/2026: I went to this sushi because the score of 4.5 was high and the reviews were good, but we really left very unhappy with the quality of the food and material.... ✅Clean and pleasant restaurant ✅Very friendly staff and fast service ❌Poor quality of food (it had no taste) ❌Very expensive prices for what it is (in many countries for 25€ you eat and it is much better) However, you go to a restaurant and the quality of the food was not good for the price they charge. I have eaten sushi in several countries in the world and even buffets that are not of extreme quality and we were much better than here and half as cheap. We paid almost 100€ for 2 people!!! In Spain for 100€ soups in a brutal place.

14/12/2025: The location is charming, the staff courteous and knowledgeable. We ordered a starter of beef tartare with burrata, garnished with truffle, and the off-menu dish was excellent fried cardoncelli mushrooms, all delicious. We then moved on to the main course: 1kg of Danish Florentine steak... it melted in your mouth. To finish, dessert was "zoccolette" with Nutella and pistachio. I highly recommend everything I've described, as shown in the attached photos. An experience worth repeating!!!

The cuisine is meticulously prepared and uses the freshest ingredients, featuring traditional Italian and Mediterranean dishes, often reinterpreted with flair and creativity. Both seafood and meat dishes are particularly popular. The young, friendly, and attentive staff are always ready to offer advice and make guests feel at home. The wine selection is also excellent. A perfect choice for a pleasant dinner, a must-try experience if you're in the area!

20/02/2026: After about three years living in Salento, I finally found the time to go and eat Greek cuisine which I missed a lot. The people do an amazing job, everything was delicious, like eating in a tavern in Greece. The service was impeccable. We will definitely come back to try the other typical Greek dishes.
