10/05/2025: An institution in the city of Lecce. Travelling from Ireland on holiday, we felt honoured to be so welcomed by the Attanasio family in a place that everyone coming to Lecce should go for an authentic experience. The decor is beautiful and reminiscent of a time gone by. We will be back!

04/10/2025: We visited this restaurant on a recommendation with a group of six, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The service was extremely poor: once the food was served, nobody checked in to see if everything was alright. The dishes themselves were below standard — the meat was tough and fatty, the lobster was overcooked, and the pasta had an unpleasantly sour taste. When we shared our feedback with the manager, instead of showing understanding or offering any form of compensation, he simply defended the restaurant. This lack of professionalism and customer care made the experience even worse. On top of that, the restaurant’s atmosphere was underwhelming, more reminiscent of a staff kitchen than a place to enjoy a nice meal. Overall, a truly disappointing visit. Neither the food, the service, nor the setting lived up to even basic expectations. Answer to owners reaction; It’s quite telling that your response to criticism is not reflection but sarcasm. A professional restaurateur listens, learns, and values feedback — even when it’s not flattering. Our review was written honestly and respectfully, describing what we experienced. Your message, on the other hand, confirms exactly what we felt during our visit: a lack of respect for guests and for basic hospitality. We genuinely hope you can one day appreciate that constructive feedback isn’t an attack — it’s an opportunity to improve.

Service was inattentive from the start — after the food was brought to the table, no one returned to check whether everything was satisfactory. The dishes themselves were disappointing: the meat was tough and fatty, the lobster was noticeably overcooked, and the pasta had a sour, unpleasant flavor. When we shared our concerns with the manager, instead of listening or showing any willingness to resolve the issue, he dismissed our comments and defended the restaurant. This defensive attitude only added to the frustration. The ambiance didn’t help either; the setting felt more like a cafeteria or staff canteen than a restaurant where you would want to spend an enjoyable evening. Overall, a very disappointing visit. Neither the food, the service, nor the atmosphere came close to meeting even the most basic expectations. Answer on the reaction of mister Giordano. Your reply says far more about your restaurant than any review ever could. Instead of addressing a guest’s feedback, you chose mockery — which perfectly explains the attitude we encountered that evening. If the goal was to prove our point about the lack of professionalism, consider it achieved.

09/09/2025: In my opinion, it's the best seafood restaurant in Salento! The dishes have very strong flavors, so be aware that you won't find the usual seafood dishes, but much, much more! Compliments to Chef Ippazio and his entire crew! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars for everything!

03/10/2025: Passing through Casarano, looking for a trattoria open for lunch, we found La Pergola, located right across from Casarano's "Bomboniera." Top-notch for quality home-cooked cuisine!

15/09/2025: A must-visit to this beautiful establishment. The pastry shop is excellent, with a special mention for the pasticciotti and fruttoni. I won't even mention the Café Leccese, which is a delight for the taste buds, as well as the generously filled Panzerotto: soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. And all this at a very affordable price. A special mention for the adorable server of Indian origin ☺️ I recommend it 100%.

01/06/2025: I am a person who does not eat pizza because I am very critical about the ingredients, but I found delicious pizzas there! as well as highly qualified and kind staff! 5 stars deserved!

06/10/2025: The place is long, narrow, and fairly bare. Maintenance is lacking. The pizza isn't as good as others appreciate. The cover charge and water (a 500ml glass only) are more expensive than the pizza itself. The service, at least, welcomes you with a smile, but that doesn't make it a reason to try again. Outdoor space is a small gazebo and a small square in front.

I really appreciated her, and it's people like this who really make the difference, besides the fact that I ate the best parmigiana of my life. We'll always be back <3

04/10/2025: I was very enthusiastic about this osteria. I finally ate some truly excellent traditional Salento food, such as broad beans and chicory, and sagne incannulate with ricotta forte. For dessert, a delicious spumone—I hadn't had one like it in years! The owner was very kind and discreet. I highly recommend it!

30/09/2025: We really wanted to find a simple, honest osteria with delicious, homemade food. Nothing fancy, nothing instagramable (even though Exedra made it into the feed :)) that distracts from a disappointing food experience. It took us some days but we found it here, at Osteria Exedra. The patron doesn't speak english, we don't speak italian but if you're a kind, open person, you understand each other anyway, with hands, feet, eye contact and maybe some google translation. We came back a second time in fact. Very nice staff, great pasta, the best bruschetta i ever had. Highly recommendend.
