28/12/2025: Neither praise nor infamy. Not much for a Christmas lunch. Panettone and sparkling wine should be a must. I'll respond to your response. I read the menu very carefully, and I knew it. It was a note stating that the Christmas menu should include panettone and sparkling wine. I didn't write a negative review, and I gave it 3 stars, not one. When I say not much, I was referring to a first course of 40-50 grams of pasta. I didn't say anything negative, and you were reprimanding me. Rest assured, we won't be returning.

07/03/2026: The first and last time... I'll explain why... you don't even get to the restaurant before the waiters rush you, asking you questions, even about a very simple salad plate they ask you how it is... dishes that arrive very quickly without considering the time it takes for the first courses, so you don't know what to eat first... Pizza is awful to say the least, soggy dough, indigestible...

08/02/2026: Truly a small and welcoming place... the pizzas are excellent, thin and crispy... in addition to the traditional flour, they can be made with various types of flour from turmeric to 5 cereals to toasted barley etc... very light... the fried foods are delicious, especially the potato croquettes... and then the dessert is sublime, strips of pizza dough with Nutella... the staff are very friendly and kind... I highly recommend it

03/02/2026: January, a short vacation with a group of friends in Puglia. It's not always possible to please everyone, but thanks to you, everyone was more than satisfied. Delicious pizzas made with a variety of flours (the barley one was excellent). The second time we shared a new dish with another friend, the Puccia. Noooo, fantastic and easily digested. The pizza dough was finished with Nutella and powdered sugar, a delight. Did we forget to ask if they ship the puccie vacuum-packed to Tuscany? We'll find out. Thanks to you too for making our mini vacation so successful.

23/01/2026: I went here with my boyfriend on New Year's Eve. There's no fixed New Year's Eve menu; we ordered what we liked from the menu and everything was delicious. The veal rolls with tomato sauce reminded me of Sunday lunches at my grandmother's. Celebrating New Year's Eve at 'Scante was like celebrating at home, thanks to the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, the extremely kind and friendly staff, and the authentic flavors of our region. Highly recommended!

12/11/2025: A beautiful spot to spend the night with your campervan. A lovely walk through the fruit trees to the well-maintained, clean restrooms. We had visited Lecce the day before.

22/03/2026: Even though it was a Saturday night, we were welcomed with a last-minute reservation. The place looks very nice, and the food arrived very quickly (though we found the meat a little too cold). The service was a bit distracted, with dishes forgotten and portions arriving one after the other, but all in all, we had a nice evening.

15/11/2025: We were at the restaurant last year and had a wonderful time. For this reason, we decided to return this year, and the experience was once again excellent. The food is very good, delicious dishes of excellent quality, fresh fish carefully prepared by the owner's mother. This time we ate: raw red prawns, octopus, a couple of different pasta dishes, pasticciotto cake, homemade limoncello—all delicious! But what makes the restaurant even more special, besides the little square it overlooks, is the owner's warm welcome, his wife's attentive service, and the professionalism and expertise of the two family members in the dining room, who made us feel at home and ensured a wonderful evening. 06/11/2025: Without a doubt, the WORST restaurant experience of my life, so bad I thought I was being filmed. The pizza maker (bald and tattooed, so he'd recognize himself) gave us a terrible welcome: no friendliness whatsoever, a curt tone, and not a smile—too busy serving himself and eating slices of cheese from the topping tray. But the worst part was that while he was preparing our pizzas, my little girl pointed out that he was coughing into his hands, on the fresh dough and the toppings. When I pointed it out to him, he said he'd washed his hands and was going to remake our pizzas, which obviously he didn't do because I kept a close eye on him. So we left our pizzas on the table untouched and left angry and hungry. A week later, I'm still shocked by this lack of hygiene and respect for customers.

08/02/2026: What can I say? The owner is a very kind and helpful person, the staff is very friendly, the food is excellent and plentiful, I had a great time, my friends and I had fun with karaoke and music... I highly recommend it... Thanks and see you next time 😘

14/01/2026: A quiet, well-kept, and welcoming place. I discovered it because of the not-at-all-fake reviews. Excellent, fresh food, short waits. Daniel always finds the best value for everyone. I can guarantee the dishes are generous, even excessively so. He's extremely polite, quick to advise, and honestly, you can trust him. A place like this deserves to be even in more renowned places. I confirm, a place where you eat very well at completely fair prices.
