Cime di Rapa - Street Food In Lecce

Twenty days ago, my partner and I randomly chose to dine at this restaurant (thankfully) and had a surprising experience. We were greeted with two very warm smiles (the chef and the girl at the counter). We ordered an excellent savory vegetable muffin as an appetizer, followed by orecchiette with turnip greens and orecchiette amber (beef ragù, yellow cherry tomato puree, and pecorino cheese), both superb dishes. The restaurant has a very welcoming and tidy aesthetic, and the high level of hygiene was clearly evident. Highly recommended.

I had a Pizza Diavolo and a sweet pucia. The bread is just perfect, really fluffy inside but really crisp on the outside. I rarely had such a good bread in pizza. The ambient is cozy and the atmosphere is relaxing. In total a great experience, with a relaxing touch. Perfect after a stressful day.

We are from the region of Puglia and have spent the summer in the region. This restaurant may be a little away from the historical center, but well worth the walk. The dishes are original Puglia recipes. Definitely would recommend the pastas as well as the pitta di patate classica. The drinks were also really great.

My partner and I had dinner here, and I have to say, the service, the food and the 2 workers were excellent. Not expensive, very clean and comfortable. A must go venue.

A very quiet place to eat, the staff is very friendly. The dishes are really good, I recommend it to everyone. The craft beer is also very good.

Cozy and quiet for a cup of coffee

We stumbled upon this lovely place while trying to escape the tourist-filled bars in the historic center. We were looking for authentic, local flavors, and we succeeded. We ordered broad beans and chicory and cuttlefish with potatoes, both very good. The service is somewhere between table service and self-service, but it's very tidy. The owner offered us fried broad beans to start the meal and delicious biscuits to finish. Highly recommended.
