A very simple but charming restaurant with wooden tables outside overlooking the town square and gardens.
Very attentive service from the very young, friendly waiters and waitresses in black suits, who are very attentive and cheerful.
A varied menu featuring both fish and meat.
Very good fried food and Pittule Salentine.

Pesce Fritto E Baccalà is a recommended choice for those seeking simple, hearty seafood cuisine rooted in Salento tradition. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but rather a place that focuses primarily on quality fish and fried foods, with highly appreciated results. Located in the historic center of Cutrofiano. Recommended by friends, we were pleasantly surprised by this place.
The indoor dining room is small but cozy, but there's also outdoor space. The owner is kind and friendly, and the food is mouth-watering.
To start, a selection of appetizers with tempura cod, a true house specialty, seafood salad, peppered mussels, anchovies, and fried meatballs—all delicious.
The lobster spaghetti was delicious, and the seafood tagliolini were delicious.
Excellent quality ingredients, and everything was decidedly fresh.
The desserts were also very good.
I will gladly return.

Dine al fresco in a peaceful setting, enjoying excellent food and fine wine, and discreet, attentive service. What can I say? I'll definitely be back, and I sincerely recommend it. The price is fair.

Located in a small square in Cutrofiano, adjacent to the main church, with a few tables set under the canopy of green pittosporum trees. The seafood menu is beautifully presented. The fried cod is excellent, and the lobster entrees are generous. The prices are reasonable. Service isn't always attentive, as it's staffed by young, novices.

The best cod tempura I've ever had; excellent service and location close to cultural and maritime attractions.
Only flaw: the saloon-like door to the restrooms...just go with friends ;-)

The food was absolutely delicious! And so reasonably priced. We had three appetizers, tons of wine, four entrees, and 2 desserts for barely over $100 euros. One of the best meals we've had in Italy for our two months here.
