25/07/2025: Good place to enjoy meat dishes. The staff were friendly.

24/07/2025: We dined at this restaurant this evening, but I couldn't wait any longer to leave my review. When we arrived, we were greeted by exceptional staff. Knowledgeable, competent, but also super kind and approachable. We completely trusted them and couldn't have made a better choice. We chose one of the available menus and received appetizers including frisée, vitello tonnato, meatballs, pulled pork, and a selection of cured meats and cheeses. The main course was entrecote with sweeter cuts. I can't find a dish we didn't enjoy. The meat was AMAZING. The super Federica served us: helpful, attentive, and incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back.

30/09/2025: Not your typical all-you-can-eat sushi; if you went with that idea, you'll be deeply disappointed. Good, refined dishes, made with quality ingredients. The chef is excellent at balancing the flavors. Of course, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and if you want fresh fish, well-balanced dishes in a refined setting, you'll have to pay a little more than the famous all-you-can-eat menu...

29/09/2025: Great place, and the food too. I have a lot to complain about the delivery. Ordered for delivery at 9/9:30 PM. Huge delay, over 50 minutes, and they don't answer the phone despite numerous calls. I'll add to my previous review that the poke ordered two weeks later, for €15, was nothing but white rice and edamame. Meager, to say the least.

07/08/2025: I got married at Villa Menelao on August 1, 2025, and I can only say wonderful things about this wonderful place. The food was impeccable, with a fabulous appetizer buffet, raw seafood, assassina, cured meats, smoked fish, delicious first courses, a delicious fish main course, and truly delicious desserts. Impeccable service; half the guests were Spanish and were impressed, with no negative comments. Martino Palmisano, the dining room manager, was my shadow. He made sure everything ran perfectly, had a solution for every request I had and was always ready to help with any needs. I am truly grateful to him for being there. The band led by Vittorio Traversa played divinely; I received compliments from everyone; the singer's voice was superb. The entire dining room staff made the event beyond special. The location was a dream, the event was in the evening, and the decorations created a magical atmosphere; everyone was amazed. Thanks also to the owner, Michele Boccardi, who gave us excellent advice and was personally present at the event to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks also to Ilaria and Luana, who planned everything down to the smallest detail and made it more than special. Thanks to all the staff ❤️ P.S.: I wish all husbands were like Martino. 14/09/2025: The pizzas feature quality ingredients, starting with the simple fiordilatte, as you can see in the photo. I ordered a diavola, but the spicy salami ranks on the greener side of the Scoville scale, so I'd change the cured meat (again, good, but almost sweet). We also ordered a pumpkin pie with caramelized onions and a pizza from "Le creazioni di Damiano": the pie was flavorful and had a strong eggy flavor, the only downside was the base, which tasted too much like sliced ​​cheese; the special pizza was a bit disappointing. The location isn't particularly inspiring, including the background music, and the pizza service is a bit slow. Prices are average. They seated us almost next to two other couples, even though we'd booked days in advance. I'll probably return, but I'll focus more on the appetizers and traditional pizzas. I would have given it a 3.5/5 if Google had given me the chance.

28/09/2025: Calvi is flavor. It's that dish you wish would never end, that forkful that makes you crave another. From appetizer to dessert, chef Donato Calvi expertly crafted his own restaurant concept: contemporary and vibrant, yet respectful of Italian and regional tradition; simple, yet never predictable. The use of ingredients is intelligent and creative, never lapsing into unnecessary flourishes. The welcoming atmosphere, the attentive and professional service, friendly without ever being pretentious, complete the experience. What can I say, if you find yourself in Altamura—or even just in the surrounding area—Calvi restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Recommended: Grilled beef ossobuco, Scottona steak tartare with ginger mayo, Linguine with red shrimp absolute, Brioche with chocolate chips and gelato. 🔝

17/09/2025: During our stopover, we had a delicious pizza outside. It was quiet and cozy. The staff was friendly. Everything was perfect.

03/09/2025: I ordered a Margherita pizza with stracciatella and sausage. When it arrived, I was amazed. It was completely white and full of milk, just how I like it! Compared to other pizzerias that make absolutely awful pizzas. The rest of the flavor was exceptional, everything fresh. I've tried other pizzas, too, and they're all good. I also ordered the mousse, and it came with whipped cream and sugar decorations. A wonderful place. The service and staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

11/10/2025: I've been to this place several times and have always had a great time. The location is very elegant, the food is excellent...we tried the sushi appetizer and other delicacies. The staff is very kind and attentive, and at the end of dinner, Ivan recommended a dessert called a Belgian cube, which was simply superb! Highly recommended.
