01/06/2026: Nice place, nothing spectacular. They asked us where we wanted to eat, and since we're IQOS smokers, we chose outside. I'll start by saying that it's not closed, the outside is completely open... while we were smoking IQOS, they told us smoking was strictly prohibited. Then the service was poor: sour and uninterested waiters, not even a smile. The pizzas were acceptable, nothing special...there's definitely better. Awful experience...

25/12/2025: Disappointed. Since it's a rather renowned establishment, I thought it was the right place to celebrate Christmas with the whole family, paying the right price for service worthy of the reputation. At the end of the evening, the service didn't live up to expectations. 1) The salmon appetizer was served without the expected crostini. An essential element to break up a strong-flavored dish. Since these weren't à la carte orders, this is a glaring omission for those who plan their supplies and for the quality of the location. 2) The staff in charge of serving wine at the table were often assigned to multiple tasks, so we had to wait for them to be free to have our wine poured. I think that if you want to offer a superior level of service, you have to be capable of doing so, otherwise, you leave the ice bucket in the center of the table with the drink inside. 3) Still considering the location, it was embarrassing for the establishment to hear the table service staff say that coffee wasn't provided and that it would be served as a personal favor. 4) Last but not least, the fact that they ended the evening quickly (before 6:30 PM) while the other rooms inside the establishment continued the party joyfully. CONCLUSION: I won't be returning... anytime soon.

09/12/2025: La Perla del Doge is a magical place, where love and the enchantment of the sea view meet and create an indescribable emotion that will remain forever etched in your memory. The staff was excellent, from the welcome upon the bride and groom's arrival to the entire process of that wonderful day! They were attentive to everything and were ready to provide their best service. We got married on September 15, 2025, and to this day we can only speak highly of it and have wonderful memories of that day! The banquet manager was excellent, and all the staff who assisted us throughout our journey were unique... our DJ Alessandro was phenomenal! Impeccable, he knew how to entertain all our guests and make them have a great time. This will definitely be OUR ROOM for future parties ❤️ We couldn't have chosen better ❤️

02/06/2026: We are sincerely disappointed with our experience. We understand that, being a holiday, the restaurant may have been particularly crowded, but that doesn't justify the level of disorganization we encountered. We waited over 30 minutes just to receive our menus, while the dining room was filled with confusion and constant requests from customers. The staff clearly appeared under pressure and inadequate for the workload. In particular, one young waiter, whom we repeatedly heard called "the little guy," was visibly tired and trying to manage a very difficult situation. His helpfulness and commitment impressed us so much that we spontaneously left a tip as a gesture of appreciation. Unfortunately, this was interpreted completely inappropriately by another waitress, who introduced herself as Raimonda, who accused us of trying to "bribe" the young man to get free bitters; she was probably annoyed that we had genuinely rewarded her colleague, who was serving our table. A truly unpleasant and surreal situation, made even more embarrassing by the fact that the young waiter was harshly reprimanded and humiliated in front of us. Added to this were the excessive wait times for the dishes, the overly salty carpaccio and shrimp, and a general feeling of disorganization. Overall, an extremely negative experience that prompted us to leave this review (we tend to understand and accommodate everything in the demanding world of restaurants). We will not be returning to this place.

02/06/2026: I'm not giving it 5 stars simply because of an unpleasant incident that I'm deeply disappointed by... We were in the outdoor area and were served by a very young waiter, called "piccolino" by the staff. He was helpful and friendly despite having to serve more than 50 people alone, supervised by another waitress. As a sign of appreciation, we gave a tip, but this was seen by his colleague, who maliciously misinterpreted the gesture, making us understand that the tip was given to get us to take away three bitters... It's a shame because our gesture was made completely honestly and to reward his helpfulness, perhaps we should have given the tip after the bill. Regardless, the food was excellent and the location was very beautiful. Special mention for providing us with a table inside to eat desserts given the sudden downpour.

22/05/2026: For a restaurant promoting itself as seafood-style dining, the experience was disappointing. First, We were told just one serve of fish and chips remained. we quicker changed our orders so our Uncle could have it. Second, asked if another meal included salad, were told it did not, so we ordered an extra salad — only for the meal to arrive with salad already included, plus the extra we ordered. A ploy to have us spend more! Third, The bread rolls were served in a bag without plates, and after asking, we were initially given only one plate for five people. Then asked again for plates. Forth, Most disappointing were the grilled prawns, which had not been properly cleaned and still contained the digestive tract (poo). Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

28/05/2026: Out of the gelato spots near old town, this is our family favourite. Every night almost we have been so far!! The Cipriani and the cherry are both amazing, also the Nutella, and the mint are family favourites but working our way though all the other flavours also!!

27/05/2026: Excellent gelato on the Molfetta seafront, with tons of unique and unexpected flavors. Besides gelato, they also have a well-stocked selection of sweet treats to boost your blood sugar. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly, and I think I'll be back :)

15/02/2026: I visited this restaurant with high expectations, and I must say the food was indeed good: well-prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and meticulous presentation. The service, at least initially, was also quite prompt. Unfortunately, however, the prices are decidedly high for what's on offer, and this significantly impacted the overall experience. The most negative aspect was the bill: the owner was unprofessional, and we were charged for a glass of wine we hadn't ordered. An unpleasant situation that left a bad impression of the evening. In short, the food was good, but the prices were high, and customer service could be improved.

21/04/2026: We had lunch as a group with a set menu. The squid ink focaccia was truly delicious, the octopus and potato salad was tender and flavorful. The pasta with beans and mussels was good. Unfortunately, we ate inside, so there was no sea view. The service was prompt. The price was perhaps a little high for the quantity, but it was also true that it was a fish-based menu.
