30/07/2024: We celebrated my son's graduation thanks to chef Jacopo, a top evening, impeccable service, elaborate dishes and sublime food. Excellent location also outside elegant place. Also highly recommended for celiacs. It will forever be our favorite restaurant for any event.

From the first welcome, Mrs. Mary was friendly and helpful and followed us and advised us in the best possible way for the organization of our wedding. On the wedding day everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, the food was exquisite, very fresh and of high quality; an added value was the maitre Martino who was like a guardian angel for us, giving us great consideration and coordinating every moment of the day together with the operators chosen by us as best as possible. The dining room staff also deserves applause as they were truly precise and friendly. If you want your day to be unforgettable for you and your guests, trust Villa Menelao with your eyes closed because you couldn't make a better choice.

We got married last Friday in an unforgettable place, where everything was perfect and taken care of down to the smallest detail! All the staff accompanied us in the organization from start to finish, with the kindness of Mrs. Mary, ready immediately to guide and accommodate our every request with great harmony, and the sweet and reassuring presence of the unsurpassed waitress Martino, our loving guide who, together with all the staff, provided an impeccable service, with unique courtesy and great availability, helping us at every step. Seeing that wonderful lawn at sunset that welcomed our initial ceremony, then the courtyard illuminated by lights and which was the place chosen for the party with a riot of succulent foods, with every type of local specialty enhancing the flavors of our land, it made our hearts beat and get emotional, acting as the backdrop to our dances together with the band that collected all our requests and made everyone dance and have fun! And finally the wedding cake and the grandiose finale that led us to the poolside and waterfall! Everything was perfect, crowned by the extraordinary energy of Veronica and the DJ and the love of everyone around! 26/08/2024: This is an Italian take on Japanese dishes. Don’t expect any Japanese tastes. We were told the fish was fresh but sadly it wasn’t tasty. Everything was served with olive oil and herbs that’s often used in Italian cooking, which made everything taste pretty much the same. If you’ve eaten good Japanese food in major cities around the world, this certainly does not cut it. Service wasn’t great. Owners of the restaurant are the waiters which gives it a strange feel to the space. Price is what you would expect from a nice sushi restaurant, so at least that wasn’t a surprise. I’m sure all good intentions here but it just doesn’t even live up to what one might expect from a Italian-Japanese fusion restaurant.

18/03/2024: Siamo stati accolti calorosamente al nostro arrivo dalla responsabile Anita, la quale ci ha guidati per tutta la durata della nostra permanenza senza mai tralasciare alcun dettaglio. Location stupenda , sale ristorante ricavate da una vecchia stalla rimessa a nuovo e adattata all’uso. L’ambiente raccoglie una serie di oggetti antichi, vecchi attrezzi da lavoro che rendono gli interni molto affascinanti. L’esterno invece offre ampi spazi al sole e alberi secolari. Il servizio è stato sempre impeccabile , personale gentile e sempre attento. I piatti proposti, be’ che dire, non penso di poter descrivere a parole la loro bontà. Qualità delle materie prime , varietà di piatti , quantità, tutto davvero di alto livello senza mai trascurare la tradizione pugliese eccellentemente rappresentata dallo chef con le sue creazioni. Il servizio è stato veloce, ogni nostra richiesta è stata soddisfatta ( e siamo stati anche piuttosto esigenti, devo ammetterlo). Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Tutto davvero impeccabile e per questo consiglio vivamente di andarci. Un grazie speciale ad Anita che ha dimostrato una grande professionalità sotto ogni aspetto. Da viaggiatori posso dire che è una delle pochissime persone mai incontrate ad essere riuscita ad abbracciare tutte le qualità che un bravo host dovrebbe avere per poter portare avanti una struttura del genere. Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Torneremo sicuramente!
