20/06/2026: Opera is a lovely restaurant with a warm intimate atmosphere, wonderful friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. We stopped here on our first night in Bari and would definitely come back again.
Sea bass was grilled perfectly with a sweet side salad, steak strips with salad was tender and juicy, with a rich buttery sauce and mushrooms with creamy mash was hearty and filling.
Despite language differences the staff were incredibly helpful and even surprised us with a birthday sparklers and rendition of "Tanti auguri a te", happy birthday, which made the evening even more special.

24/06/2026: A wonderful moment shared together. We were lucky enough to enjoy some excellent Italian wines accompanied by a platter of charcuterie and cheeses with mango and ginger jam. I highly recommend it.
18/06/2026: We came in based on the reviews and can only confirm what those who preceded us said. You immediately feel at home, the wines are excellent and the menu simple but truly delicious. We tried both impeccably served white wines and reds. The freselle, both with tomato and vegetables, were excellent. The charcuterie and cheese platter was excellent, and since we didn't like it at all, we decided to try the prosciutto with burrata as well. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by Paco's; I'm sure you won't regret it.

20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre.
The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.
18/05/2026: The lady who welcomed us was very kind and welcoming. The octopus with zucchini alla poverella was truly delicious. 🔝 Excellent experience.

The service was amazing, each dish was decribed when presented on what each contained and how to eat, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect.
We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Monopoli
31/05/2026: The Melanzane was wonderful. The sea bass carpaccio had a slight odor. The pasta was very good, but we couldn't eat the shrimp in it. Don't even try the Tiramisu. It's just espresso poured over biscuits and topped with cream. It was terrible.

07/06/2026: Booked a table for 2 on Saturday evening at 9:30 pm via WhatsApp, before it was all full... we arrived a little early and our table had become available and they sat us down... simple furnishings, location on the small square of Torre a Mare... strolling view... attentive and fast service, we had a tasting platter of cured meats, pistachio meatballs and baked potatoes, a glass of Primitivo and a bottle of water... everything excellent! What can I say... we will definitely be back, very good, keep it up!

From the welcoming staff to the beauty of the place, it definitely exceeded expectations.
The special feature: the completely revisited meat and fish rolls, a true delicacy.
One last treat: a souvenir Polaroid photo with a dedication from the owner.
Highly recommended.

08/07/2026: I don’t speak fluent Italian. This was the first thing I said. The lady from the counter was AMAZING extremely nice and honest with her recommendations. Food was amazing. We were already disappointed with other three places we visited where we were treated horrible.
Please if you come here don’t hesitate to try it.
Bombetta was to die for. We also had some nice beers and truly enjoyed the atmosphere here.
Keep doing it just like that. I would definitely come back!! Grazie mille? (I think?)
