Caffè Portineria isn't a place to grab a quick coffee and leave, but a place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch as if you were at home, leaving the hustle and bustle at your door. The staff has created a convivial atmosphere where mutual trust reigns with their customers, where you can relax, feel at home, and make new friends. We absolutely loved this little café. It’s a cozy and charming breakfast spot where you can enjoy delicious homemade cakes and truly excellent coffee. The atmosphere feels incredibly warm and homely — the kind of place where you instantly relax and don’t want to leave. We were served (we think by the owner, though not 100% sure) by a lovely lady who have also baked the carrot cake we had — and it was amazing. She spoke beautiful English, was incredibly kind, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything was perfect: the coffee, the sweets, the service, and the overall vibe. It’s one of those rare places where you can feel the care and passion behind everything. A small, heartfelt gem — we’ll definitely carry this experience with us for a long time.

02/05/2026: I wanted to share the wonderful experience I had at **The King**. From the start, the going was excellent: we had made a reservation and, to our great surprise, they were quick to accommodate us, which I greatly appreciated. As for the food, we were truly satisfied. We started with a truly fresh and tasty **octopus and shrimp salad**, but the highlight was the **Puccia Stendardo**: absolutely excellent, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Special praise goes to the staff: the service was not only courteous, but also **incredibly fast**. Even though the restaurant was busy, the dishes arrived in record time without ever sacrificing quality. If you're looking for a place to eat well, with punctual and fast service, The King is definitely a must. We'll definitely be back!

09/03/2026: Unfamiliar with the city, we asked around for a place to eat good raw fish. The exterior doesn't exactly look inviting, but once we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The place is cute, clean, and tasteful. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and welcoming. The fish is extraordinary, fresh, and beautifully presented. The quality-price ratio is excellent.
