We ordered a small pan and two pizzas. I was happy with the small pan, but I wasn't at all satisfied with the classic dough pizza. It was supposed to be a 72-hour leavened dough, but it didn't seem like it. However, the mixed grain dough was worth it. The prices are quite high, but even a pizza is a luxury these days.

My wife and I stayed here during our overnight stay in Alberobello. This is a nice and welcoming place not far from the center. The pizza is exceptional, light and topped with top quality ingredients. I highly recommend it. Super.

My boyfriend and I went there on Valentine's Day. The welcome was perfect, the staff were very kind. They greeted us with two glasses of prosecco with a strawberry inside, and before we left, they gave us a bag of two heart-shaped cookies. It's not for everyone, but we really enjoyed it. Plus, the pizza was excellent, one of the best we've had so far, with a light crust. I recommend it to everyone.

Basilico Rosso is simply a place close to our hearts. From the first time we visited, we fell in love with it. The location is unique: spacious, bright, tidy, and above all, perfectly in keeping with its name. Every painting, every decoration, every detail is meticulously designed and bears the symbol of basil. A team of impeccable waiters, always with a kind word, accompanies customers through their experience. The pizza, for us, is the best of all: incredibly light, with a choice of different doughs, original, and truly gourmet. The final product fully reflects the total care that Mario, the pizza chef, infuses into his work. Reservations are recommended because the place is often full; furthermore, we recommend arriving at the earliest possible time, as it is located on the ring road, with very limited parking spaces. The bill is slightly higher than average, but it is totally in line with the experience and the raw materials used. For us, it's a safe haven to return to, and since we're local, our "ritual" includes stopping at Mario's for the first pizza of the year (and many more!). If you want excellent pizza in Alberobello, you can't miss Basilico Rosso!

Away from the tourist frenzy of Alberobello, this pizzeria was recommended to us: very light dough, excellent ingredients, friendly staff, and convenient internal parking.
