03/06/2026: I went yesterday with my family and friends from an association for autistic children. We were treated wonderfully and enjoyed delicious food. The restaurant is inclusive, with an open kitchen, and the food was excellent from appetizers to dessert. I'll be back.
21/05/2026: Excellent experience at this restaurant just outside the old city walls but within walking distance of Pra Bari. Traditional menu with excellent ingredients and unforgettable service.

05/06/2026: A charming inn close to the historic center. We had a very good meal, recommended by the friendly and cheerful staff. You can enjoy traditional Apulian dishes from Altamura. Reasonably priced. Perhaps better than a pizzeria. I recommend ordering the Padre Peppe served at the end of the meal. A surprise. The decor is also very tasteful. I'm very satisfied and will return.

07/01/2026: On the first day, access was literally blocked by a dense, cheerful Italian crowd, patiently waiting or enjoying their focaccia in a wonderful atmosphere… despite the icy wind. We gave up.
The second day, exactly the same scenario. Another attempt, another failure.
What's the mystery?
On the third day, finally, we understood the reason for the crowds. The focaccia and the bread were simply exceptional. Of remarkable quality, they fully justified the wait: here, patience is richly rewarded.
07/01/2026: A unique place that reeks of history and serves delicious food even during siesta, when all other restaurants are closed. A big plus for that! You can sit across from it, in the stone gateway, and still soak up the history while savoring a delicious pizza crust by the pound.

01/06/2026: The owners are very kind and friendly. They have a deep knowledge of Altamura and its history. The building in which the B&B is located is simply stunning. Beautifully restored and furnished, it features a beautiful frescoed ceiling. Everything was very pleasant, even the breakfast.

03/04/2026: The raw fish is truly top-quality! Extremely fresh and carefully prepared, you can taste the difference immediately. The tartare and carpaccio are excellent, with well-balanced flavors and never overpowered by the seasoning. The horizontal tasting menu is highly recommended.
Friendly and fast service, with staff also available to recommend dishes. The atmosphere is refined and pleasant.
The price is right for the quality. Highly recommended! 👍

The food completely fell short of expectations; the small panzerotti were excessively greasy and lacked filling. An even more painful note was the service and management (terrible): we witnessed an embarrassing and unprofessional scene, with the owner yelling at his own employees in the dining room. Behavior like that takes away any desire to return, especially given the subpar and uncomfortable atmosphere. There's much room for improvement, but good manners are not optional. I would never return!!!!

21/05/2026: I visited this pizzeria with my wife and will definitely be back, as we were so pleased with the quality of the pizza: the dough is spectacular, light and well-cooked, and digestible. It comes in several variations; I chose the whole-grain version and will definitely return. The ingredients are also excellent, all top-quality. The young, friendly, and fast staff served us immediately, and our orders arrived promptly. Keep up the good work!

31/05/2026: A very well-kept, interesting, and yet familiar location, with a large selection of wines in the cellar. The owners are kind and attentive. Service is attentive. The food is carefully selected, with a focus on local products and a taste of the Murgia region. Excellent appetizers and first courses. Typical local meats such as lamb, mutton, and "pezzente" (pork sausage).
A restaurant for those who love good food.

24/05/2026: I booked a table outside two weeks ago for my mother's birthday. We arrived on time, and were told they'd moved us inside without any prior notice. We asked why, and they told us the tables outside had all been sold that morning, with the excuse that it might rain (not a cloud in the sky). They were also arrogant and didn't apologize. What did I book for?
The most unpleasant thing was the owner's attitude. Very disappointed.

12/06/2026: We stumbled upon this bar by chance while passing through Altamura to buy bread. Of course, we couldn't miss out on trying the pasticciotti. We tried the crema e cioccolato, delicious! Among the best we've ever had, but besides the pasticciotti, another highlight of the place is its owner. A very friendly and kind gentleman, we chatted with him for a bit and he was truly kind. Before we left, he even gave us a lucky charm, a meringue, and a pastiera, delicious! DEFINITELY GO THERE, we'll definitely be back.
