20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre.
The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.
18/05/2026: The lady who welcomed us was very kind and welcoming. The octopus with zucchini alla poverella was truly delicious. 🔝 Excellent experience.

The service was amazing, each dish was decribed when presented on what each contained and how to eat, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect.
We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Monopoli
31/05/2026: The Melanzane was wonderful. The sea bass carpaccio had a slight odor. The pasta was very good, but we couldn't eat the shrimp in it. Don't even try the Tiramisu. It's just espresso poured over biscuits and topped with cream. It was terrible.

Small plates, great for sharing and tasting a wide variety of traditional local favorites and creative takes. Vegetarian friendly.

01/06/2026: We wholeheartedly recommend that place! That was our third visit here. The owner and staff once again welcomed us very warm and friendly. Food and wine were delicious like always.

We got welcomed with some homemade tzatziki sauce (very refreshing on this warm weather). What surprised me was the spicy olive oil served with the pasta- delicious.

04/11/2025: Excellent panzerotti made to order, sometimes with a long wait as customers patiently wait in the street for their panzerotti to be prepared.
They are incredibly fresh, fried with a generous and very rich filling. All this for a very reasonable price: between €4 and €5 depending on the filling. A must-try unless you're allergic to fried food!

19/05/2026: Beautiful outside and in. The vibe was immaculate. The food was really delicious. The service was phenomenal. We had a few of the dishes that were recommended and they did not disappoint. The wine selection was fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant.
18/05/2026: We came across this hidden gem while staying in Monopoli the string fairylights caught my eye down an alleyway and it looked so romantic and cute. We ordered the rolled meat ragù and the pink shrimp pasta. The food was delicious! The fresh seafood was fresh and tasty. The service was great, super friendly and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.

07/06/2026: There were 10 of us, we tried all the meat dishes, and everything was delicious. The grilled liver was especially exquisite. For me, it's the best steakhouse I've been to in Bari. The atmosphere is welcoming, set in a beautiful countryside. The price was ridiculously low for what we ate. The desserts were also excellent, homemade. I hope to return soon.

The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic, perfect for a dinner with friends or a more relaxed evening. The staff was friendly and helpful.

09/01/2026: Unpleasant takeout experience on a Friday evening. Sandwiches were ordered two hours in advance, and we had to wait an additional half hour, despite being told they were coming out of the kitchen when we arrived. The worst part was finding raw meat (as shown in the photo) in one of the sandwiches. Not recommended!

04/06/2026: A lovely spot in Monopoli. We ordered orecchiette with seafood and rigatoni with octopus. As a welcome, we received a small appetizer of tomato bruschetta and bread polpette. Nothing extraordinary, but a nice touch.
The food seemed authentic and the dishes were good. It's an excellent option for a simple, relaxed local lunch. The service is laid-back and the atmosphere is peaceful. A great place to discover the cuisine of Puglia.
