20/05/2026: Finally, the first good restaurant I found in the region. There are so many restaurants but many are very touristic and food is mediocre. The food here was delicious and tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was warm. A place I would come back to if I lived in the area. It can become a long meal if you order many courses as it’s run by a small team. We had nowhere else to be though and enjoyed the experience. Try to make a reservation to avoid disappointment! Or come early at opening and hope for a last minute table.

18/05/2026: The lady who welcomed us was very kind and welcoming. The octopus with zucchini alla poverella was truly delicious. 🔝 Excellent experience.

02/06/2026: A five star restaurant! The service was amazing, each dish was decribed when presented on what each contained and how to eat, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Monopoli

31/05/2026: The Melanzane was wonderful. The sea bass carpaccio had a slight odor. The pasta was very good, but we couldn't eat the shrimp in it. Don't even try the Tiramisu. It's just espresso poured over biscuits and topped with cream. It was terrible.

03/07/2026: FANTASTIC! A gem of a restaurant. Small and chic and with extraordinary food. Melanzana parmigiana like I've never eaten before. Shrimp salad (simple but with some very interesting flavors) baked potatoes with cheese and pepper that we all beat each other! Google has no stars how good we felt! And we also had a surprise....Pietro the one who served us, spoke Romanian. Excellent!

14/07/2026: Our favorite ice cream shop in Monopoli. 100% artisanal gelato, always original flavors. I have a particular weakness for the granitas, especially the peach one.

06/08/2026: A great place for a quick lunch. Amazing pasta, truly unique quality. Very friendly service. The atmosphere was average, especially since it was hot and the noisy air conditioner was very bothersome.

08/08/2026: Panzerotto is a fantastic Italian street food – fried dough similar to pizza dough, filled with mozzarella and tomato sauce, with additional ingredients depending on the variety. At Madia, the panzerotti are freshly fried, beautifully crispy, and simply delicious. There’s also a good selection to choose from, so it’s hard to stop at just one. And the best part? You can take your panzerotto with you and enjoy it just a few steps away, on the old city walls overlooking the sea and the harbour. This is exactly what great street food in Puglia should be like.

08/08/2026: Excellent, everything was delicious!! I had the panzerotto with mozzarella and tomato and it was spectacular. Big in size and lots of toppings. They make them on the spot so they're nice and hot... go for it, you won't regret it. PS You can choose the dough... there's also one with hemp flour.

12/08/2026: Quality products, good service, unfortunately it was a little hot but that's not their fault. We ate very well and paid the right price.

06/08/2026: The best restaurant in Monopoli. If there is one must visit place that would be this one. Great food and super friendly staff. If this wasn’t my last night in monopoli i would come back here for 3rd time as well. And yes, everything is super affordable

19/05/2026: Beautiful outside and in. The vibe was immaculate. The food was really delicious. The service was phenomenal. We had a few of the dishes that were recommended and they did not disappoint. The wine selection was fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant.

18/05/2026: We came across this hidden gem while staying in Monopoli the string fairylights caught my eye down an alleyway and it looked so romantic and cute. We ordered the rolled meat ragù and the pink shrimp pasta. The food was delicious! The fresh seafood was fresh and tasty. The service was great, super friendly and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.

22/07/2026: Loved the atmosphere and friendly service of this neighbourhood bar! Prices are reasonable, coffee is very good, granita of gelso is delicious as well as their ricotta pastries. Came here twice during our stay in Monopoli.

04/06/2026: A lovely spot in Monopoli. We ordered orecchiette with seafood and rigatoni with octopus. As a welcome, we received a small appetizer of tomato bruschetta and bread polpette. Nothing extraordinary, but a nice touch. The food seemed authentic and the dishes were good. It's an excellent option for a simple, relaxed local lunch. The service is laid-back and the atmosphere is peaceful. A great place to discover the cuisine of Puglia.
