21/10/2024: After a day spent in Castellamonte for the annual ceramic exhibition, we decided to wander around the hills in the area in search of a nice cheap pioletta. Of course, we never expected such a nice, welcoming place with such a varied cuisine! We had a nice plate of pasta, but we saw burgers and pizzas pass here and there, in the hands of the very friendly waiters, with succulent faces to say the least. However, what most made us say goodbye to L'insomnia with the thought that sooner or later we absolutely have to return, is the outdoor area that you will find once you pass the main room, at the bottom of the stairs: a truly relaxing atmosphere surrounded by greenery. And in any case it is also worth mentioning the main venue which, especially in the cold periods of the year, will welcome you with its Irish pub style charm.

04/01/2025: A little place found by chance: it was a wonderful surprise! Very welcoming staff, we ate two spectacular burgers and the tiramisu was excellent; to conclude a delicious Brazilian coffee!

28/11/2024: We had dinner in a real stadium... impossible to even hear the waitress presenting the dishes, I believe that the most basic rules on safety and capacity of people in a single room were not respected, with customers and tables crammed they are a few centimeters away (I couldn't move the chair back to go out if the one at the table behind, who is a bit overweight, if he didn't move too..) truly absurd!! I understand the costs of maintaining the venue and the staff, but this does not justify cramming over 60 people with 20-seat tables in a single evening in a single room. Decent paella (a cloth should be given to cover the paella after the first taste we ate the rest cold), excellent sangria, high bill again considering the context, ( but everything goes into the background when you can't appreciate the dinner) very good waitresses, not enviable... and as if they worked in a press sector factory, night shift without headphones... nothing but noise pollution!!

11/12/2024: Nice place, nothing spectacular. You can choose your broth, with even vegan options (mushroom or tomato). There are many mushrooms, various types of tofu (breaded, fried or natural)! Vegetables including broccoli, Chinese and regular cauliflower, Chinese cabbage, spinach, regular and American potatoes. Even some potato spaghetti!! As for the sauces, I have to say that I didn't love them, but being able to put coriander and chives everywhere is a must for me! There are also some seaweed in the fridge and seasoned in the sauces section. For vegans they bring you really good vegetable ravioli that you can request several times. I would happily recommend it, but in any case there is no menu to follow for "Thai" eating, let's say, so you won't be able to taste the typical dishes if you don't know them or maybe not vegan!

03/01/2025: What can I say, aesthetically beautiful place, very good food, I had a bit of everything: fish balls with nori seaweed (very good and light), chickpeas/lentils curry (lentil dahl style), gumbo (spicy but just right) , beef/veal (if I'm not mistaken) with black garlic and finally a Lebanese cake/omelette. I highly recommend this place because it really is a little pearl.
