18/06/2025: A traditional Piedmontese restaurant, specializing in fish, with spectacular pasta dishes, good wine, and very attentive service. We were treated very well and with great professionalism. We really enjoyed all the dishes (flan di verdure, tagliolini, ravioles della valvaraita - a wonderful discovery, I highly recommend), the wine, and the homemade sweets. Good vegetarian options, very nice waiters, and a traditional tavern, with a lot of love for the cuisine, in Vanchiglia to which I will return without hesitation.

16/08/2025: The atmosphere is calm, a little lacking in music. The service is good, the girls are friendly. The food is the worst I've eaten since we arrived in Italy. I ordered beef steak with vegetables. The meat tasted old, beyond the point of cooking, which was fine, but it had a bad taste. The sautéed vegetables were well prepared but not all were to my liking. Additionally, I ordered French fries and before ordering them we asked if they were natural or pre-fried. They said they were natural but they didn't seem to be, they looked like fast food fries. We told that to the person who served us and she switched them for rice, mistake!! The pre-fried fries were better than the flavorless and overcooked basmati rice they brought me. The very friendly girl offered me Parmesan cheese with my rice, which I accepted, but even that didn't fix it, I couldn't eat it.

01/08/2025: Let's start with the fact that the food is very good and that's the only reason I'll be back. A very funny thing happened in my opinion because I came out of the bathroom and my hands were wet, so I decided to go get some tissues from the counter. The owner came over and asked me what I needed them for. I told him that my hands were wet, but he replied in a very aggressive and rude way that if I had to dry my hands, I shouldn't use tissues.

25/06/2025: A truly beautiful, authentic discovery. The manager is incredibly kind and speaks Italian, French, and English, which is a great advantage when you're a tourist. Delicious piadinas with a wide selection on the menu, for a very affordable price. Fast service with quality ingredients! A little gem worth the detour!

30/08/2025: We had a delightful evening. The restaurant is located just steps from Lake Piverone and is one of the restaurants of the Tradizione Canavesana, an association of restaurateurs who celebrate the region and the unique characteristics of the Canavese area. I was immediately struck by the round tables and especially by the unique and characteristic arrangement of the chairs, which already demonstrates an attention to hospitality and detail. The menu is in line with tradition, with a few ingredients that make the dishes a little more "cool." There were eight of us and we ate a bit of everything (much to the delight of the kitchen). I preferred to try the specialty conegone, the river fish from Lake Viverone. I had it as an appetizer in carpione (pickled with onions, sage, and vegetables, a typical Piedmontese dish) and then as a main course I had it with fried perch with skirts. The perch was very, very good. Other diners enjoyed the Fassone battutala with tempura zucchini flowers, and the turmeric gnocchi with mint and sopek. We also had no qualms about the price: stuffed peaches (good), a portion of zabaglione (really well presented and a lot of it), apple puff pastry with cream and galato (very good and similar to tarte tatin), and even the nougat and raspberry semifreddo. It was a very pleasant evening. The food lived up to expectations. The portions were also adequate; the only thing that could perhaps be improved was the speed, as we waited a bit long (also because we ordered a thousand different things). Good value for money. We'll be back. PS: There are no mosquitoes, and above all, it's wonderful to be inside, even in the summer.

10/08/2025: The pizza and farinata are amazing. The place is a bit small, but I usually order takeout. Plus, specifically for takeout, the pizzas (and the farinata) are packaged in aluminum containers that keep them freshly baked until they reach your home (and I don't live very close).

08/08/2025: Despite the small and crowded atmosphere, the farinata and pan pizza are exceptional, among the best I've ever had. I'm giving it "only" 3 stars because I would have appreciated a little more kindness from the owner. When customers come in, even if you're terribly busy with your work, a "Good evening" is the bare minimum. When you order two portions of farinata and only one arrives because there's no more ready at 8:20 PM, at least they apologize (plus, the second portion and the pizza arrived at the same time). The rest of the staff, however, is more courteous. Best regards Lorenzo

05/09/2025: A welcoming place. Reminiscent of a classic mountain restaurant. Pleasant and punctual service. Service times are a bit long. Nothing to complain about the quality and quantity of the dishes. We'll definitely be back.

26/07/2025: After numerous visits to this restaurant, I can only highly recommend it. The cuisine faithfully follows Piedmontese tradition, often reinterpreted with a modern twist by the chef with great skill. The service is attentive and precise, while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere typical of a family-run business that characterizes the restaurant. The wine and craft beer pairings are particularly noteworthy, with the knowledgeable staff professionally recommending them to complement each dish. Don't miss the porcini mushroom-themed dinners held in September and October: it's a unique experience, made even more special by the fact that the mushrooms are harvested directly by the family. The quality and selection of ingredients are excellent. The value for money is more than fair, considering the level of culinary offerings. To complete the experience, the magnificent panoramic view of the city of Turin pleasantly accompanies the entire dinner, making it truly memorable.

09/03/2025: Nice place with tables inside and outside, the inside is very small, there are a maximum of 4 tables so it's best to book. Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff, fast service. Good quality/price.
