24/12/2025: Gourmet lunch in Piedmont Beautiful setting in a small Piedmont village, with attentive and fast service. We enjoyed an aperitif, two glasses of prosecco, and were served four entrées: a chickpea cone, a savory baba, a blue cheese and hazelnut tart, and tomato chips with fresh cream and anchovies with lemon jelly. Very special. There were several tasting menus available, as well as the à la carte menu. We chose the Territory and Tradition tasting menu for €70 per person. Typical Monferrato dishes presented with care. Piedmontese Fassona tartare, rosemary and mustard, smoked egg yolk and shallots, truly excellent. Traditional plinth, roast gravy and thyme, Piedmontese fillet, celeriac, black cabbage, and Bordeaux sauce. Everything was delicious. The pre-dessert, you either love it or hate it, was a very special vinegar sorbet. The dessert: I'm not...a Bonet! Made with the ingredients of a bunet. We were served a small pastry along with coffee and four small sweets. Drinks are not included. Cover charge is €5, 75cl water €4, and we spent €208 for two. Recommended for a special occasion.

Reviews speak of creative, well-structured cuisine featuring traditional Piedmontese dishes revisited with modern touches, thoughtful tastings, and excellent wine pairings. The vegetarian options are also well-received for their emphasis on seasonal ingredients. The setting, housed in a beautifully restored historic villa, is truly evocative, with a frescoed interior and refined atmosphere, perfect for a romantic evening or an important occasion.

05/04/2026: I have to thank the Billis twins for their wonderful hospitality at their osteria. It's a wonderful place, rich and innovative. I also have to thank their staff, who welcomed us like family, and I had the opportunity to meet one of the twins, Filippo, with whom I was able to chat almost as if we were two friends. The menu was beautiful and unique, thank you so much ❤️❤️😜😋

01/04/2026: Excellent meat, excellent service, good wine selection. Fabulous grilled meat, excellent rib eye steak....delicious elegant orecchiette!!! Normal prices. Highly recommended. Next door, their butcher shop with top-notch meats. At lunchtime, they offer a work-out menu for €16.50.

23/02/2026: Returning to Turin after our experience, we decided to dine out before heading home. Thanks to a friend's exceptional recommendation, we ended up at this welcoming, warm, and family-friendly location. Customer service is at the heart of their approach, and the various courses are delicacies in taste, smell, and sight, all beautifully presented and conveying emotions. Impeccable service and friendly, attentive staff. The value for money is more than average. If you find yourself passing through the Ovada area and/or are on your way back to Genoa, don't miss this welcoming and charming restaurant/agriturismo... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

08/06/2026: We went for a quick lunch; unfortunately, we only had one course each and 1/4 glass of a fresh, light Chardonnay, but the menu is interesting. Overall, a great experience, fair value, and attentive service. Our small dachshunds were made very welcome, thank you. Overall, I recommend it.

31/05/2026: Today, after visiting a castle, we had lunch at this restaurant based on the reviews we'd read... which we can confirm. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, the location lovely, and the prices were great... we're really not sure what or where to recommend improvements. It's great as it is, and we'll definitely be back with friends, primarily to try other options, and we're sure to make a great impression. It's also worth noting that for us Milanese, coming to this area is a top priority.

11/05/2026: We had a really good pizza. The service was excellent, friendly and polite, and the atmosphere was welcoming and clean. It was our second visit and we were satisfied. 01/05/2026: A quaint restaurant located in the square in front of the Bollente di Acqui Terme. The restaurant isn't very large, so reservations are recommended. The dishes are well-prepared and tasty. Service is fairly quick, with young, professional waiters. The wine list is extensive. Prices are fair.

15/05/2026: A delightful little restaurant with a delicious food and wine list in the center of Alessandria. The atmosphere is intimate yet welcoming, located in a quaint corner, hence its name. This characteristic is emphasized by the minimalist, almost hidden entrance. The service is efficient, friendly, and empathetic.

26/04/2026: Excellent experience, small place, pleasant atmosphere, and cheerful staff. Good service, and the fish dishes (Acquese stockfish and cod with vegetables) were truly delicious. The appetizer was very good, but in my opinion a bit unbalanced; the robiola cheese was too dominant and hid the artichokes and truffles a bit, but still a good one. Definitely worth returning. Excellent.
