07/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria della Luna, and the experience was truly positive. It's a welcoming and well-maintained village restaurant with a warm and authentic atmosphere. There's also an outdoor terrace (seating about 15), ideal on nice days, while inside there's seating for about 40 in a rustic setting that perfectly reflects the Monferrato style. The menu is varied and well-thought out, ranging from traditional Piedmontese classics, such as Fassona beef tartare and spaghetti alla chitarra, to more modern dishes with vegetarian and vegan options, such as lentil meatballs (main course); a choice that makes the restaurant suitable for everyone. The selection of local wines is also excellent, perfectly in keeping with the region. The selection of craft beers is interesting (I noticed the Birrificio Lambrate logo on the coaster), which adds an extra touch to the offerings. Special praise goes to the staff: courteous, cheerful, and always available. The passion and attention to the customer are clearly perceived, elements that truly make the difference.

06/04/2026: I'm familiar with the location since I'm originally from Vignale. We had lunch with friends on Easter Sunday. Excellent cuisine, impeccable service, top-notch wines, quality and courtesy combine with the originality of the place... the classic Vignalese "Canvon." We'll definitely be back. Nadia Corda.

03/05/2026: A wonderful experience in a stunning location. Breathtaking views of the lower Monferrato. The dishes were carefully crafted, so the palate was also delighted.

02/05/2026: Thanks to this fantastic restaurant and their staff, we had an unforgettable lunch. We ate on the terrace, and the sunny day made for a wonderful day. The welcome and service were impeccable. The culinary journey was excellent! We also tried their desserts, which were out of this world! Sorbet, hazelnut cake, and tiramisu. We ended our meal on a high note! Great treats for our four-legged friend, too!

11/06/2026: I went in well aware of the prices (a steak was around €20, I think), but everything was very good. I ordered two glasses of wine. Upon our arrival, we were served a delicious chef's entree. Two mixed appetizers. A steak, a dessert, and two coffees, for a total of around €90. Everything was very good. Even though I asked for the steak well done (I like it that way), they managed to make it delicious.

06/06/2026: For work/residence reasons I happen to eat in a very very very highly rated pizzeria restaurant where national and international newspapers RIGHTLY praise it as one of the best Italian pizza restaurants, well, the one from Sole e Luna is a cut above, yesterday it was truly amazing 💯💯💯💯💯 really good

03/02/2026: We're regulars and come from Genoa specifically because the pizza is truly worth it. There was a small hiccup on Saturday night (things that can happen in any restaurant), but the staff was incredibly polite: even though we didn't want to, they insisted on offering us dinner. It's not often you find people so honest and attentive to the people at their table. That's exactly why we keep coming back!

10/06/2026: I would really like to rate the place 5 stars. The place is stunning, a truly special castle in the middle of a crazy view, comfortable rooms and overall a truly unique experience that is second to none. On the other hand, in terms of service experience, unfortunately, they still have a lot to learn, and in terms of food, we paid for a chef's meal and all the dishes were inedible... There were renovations there at 6 am that disturbed our sleep and not even an employee was able to silence them so that they would at least start at a more reasonable time... In conclusion, I do really recommend it, but I would be happy if they changed the menu and improved the service experience a little, as befits a unique boutique hotel of this style 🙏🏽

27/05/2026: Fantastic experience!! We visited the cellars with Elisabetta, an impeccable guide and sommelier! She took us on a journey through time, revealing step by step the passion that has endured over time and into the history that is still being written today. After the tour, we tasted several wines, with the premium tasting also including a local food platter. Elisabetta, once again, was perfect! We concluded the tour by visiting the garden and the beautiful labyrinth, and finally stopped at the on-site restaurant for a delightful lunch, with meticulous attention to detail. We left with a selection of wines that you can purchase at the end of the experience! See you soon!!

06/05/2026: Finding vegan food is difficult in this part of Italy. We were delighted to discover this place is completely vegan! We hard a hard time choosing dishes, everything looked good. We chose for a carbonara, börek, agnaloti, vitello tonnato, crêpe, and yes, we also tried almost all deserts and we STILL have to come back and have a whole full menu to chose from if we want to try it all!! Which we definitely will. The service was incredibly sweet and patient with us. The vibe is american diner. Can't wait to go back :)

03/05/2026: Brought to us for lunch by regular friends. Everything was delicious, it was difficult to choose among so many new and delicious dishes. The desserts are the best, and omnivores should try them. The price is a little higher than usual, but without any animal cruelty, it's worth the trip and the experience. Seating inside and out, not a lot of covers, but the service and wait times were perfect. Two specials: the bathroom with a hanging robe and the laurel and rosemary chiupito (a specialty) at the end. Thank you, it was memorable and we'll definitely be back!

10/05/2026: We had lunch at this excellent restaurant on recommendation, and I'd say it was a great choice. A tastefully furnished agriturismo without distorting its identity or making it too "prim and proper." The menu offers excellent value for money, and the service is fast and accurate, despite the restaurant being full. The staff are always ready to serve customers with a smile—that's no longer a given. The cuisine is typical of the Monferrato region, with a slightly updated twist, with a few seafood dishes (to please my wife, who doesn't eat meat). The Fassona beef tartare and pork cheek are excellent, and the spaghetti with black garlic are good but have room for improvement. The black garlic is very sweet, the ginger is barely noticeable, and the mussels were only three in number and overpowered in flavor by the garlic. Perhaps some ingredients need to be revisited or calibrated better for a better final result. The Gianduiotto mousse is delicious. There are few restaurants nowadays that offer a slightly revisited but at the same time classic cuisine of a typical modern farmhouse but with normal prices and not of a restaurant that aspires to be starred. Finding a balance and staying within the budget is not easy. Well done.
