14/01/2025: We were in the area and went to see this magnificent place. The castle is private and can only be visited for special events. We went to visit the cellars anyway and have lunch at the 3 clocks. Everything was beautiful, very well looked after and attentive, helpful staff.. We would like to spend a night there soon. There are 12 rooms in the village medieval annexed to the castle. Worth visiting

01/01/2025: We’ve been fortunate enough to stay at many hotels located in castles over the years; it’s sort of our “thing” when traveling through western Europe. We can say, without a doubt, CdG ranks up there with the best. Not “just one castle,” but a property encompassing its own medieval village, CdG, shines. The food is stellar, the surroundings are beautiful, and the hedge maze makes this a stand-out property.

20/03/2025: Curious place, former body shop reconverted with good taste. Very short menu with dishes from the classic Alexandrian cuisine of the past, excellent quality raw materials well cooked, price not cheap, but in line with today's market. The times between one course and another are a little too long in my opinion. However, it is a place worth a visit.

15/03/2025: Trattoria of the past, FRIENDS from the previous place, you eat simple and well-groomed local products. The only flaw is the resonance when the place is full (always always). BOOK IT IS BETTER. P.S. Marco put noise absorbing panels thanks 😂😂😂😂

05/03/2025: We ordered the cake for our daughter's birthday and apart from the exceptional aesthetic creativity, the very delicate and fresh taste at the same time, it was the first time we had a truly exquisite and excellent gluten-free cake. Our daughter was really happy. We thank Ilenia for her availability. We highly recommend!!

12/02/2025: Just when you think that their attempt to achieve perfection has now reached the insurmountable point, the owners of the pizzeria deliver the blow you don't expect. Which you almost don't believe. Indeed, if for any reason you eat vegan it brings tears to your eyes, hoping you have understood correctly. Not satisfied with having undertaken the winning path of first choice ingredients, which make their pizza unrivaled in the Territory, for goodness, originality and style, the "marvellous couple" now offers a skeptic-proof selection of vegetable cheeses. Not only are they delicious, not only do they not contain cholesterol, but they give the pizzas - try the smoked veg provola to believe it - an explosion of flavour, accentuated by the already incomparable friarelli cream to garnish, even the unrivaled fried montanarine. And then, the emotion of finally being able to taste a traditional margherita again, with veg mozzarella practically indistinguishable from the original, but with the addition of a special tomato puree and basil sauce, a secret creation (for now) of the Master pizza chef. In short, a surprise within a surprise, which makes this pizzeria already one of a kind, a place to be remembered for its ability and courage to always innovate. Try it and you will understand why it is better to book in advance. At the right price.

24/01/2025: Small restaurant discovered by chance on the night of San Lorenzo last year, now found again after a long search on Maps because... We absolutely want to go back! Excellent quality of ingredients, warm welcome with many surprises starting from the aperitif with coffee and...many good wines! Must try... And come back!!! :)

14/01/2025: Capitati per caso, abbiamo poi scoperto che il titolare e' originario di un paese vicino al nostro, e di avere amicizie comuni nell' ambito della ristorazione. L' ambiente e' bellissimo, ricavato da una chiesa sconsacrata, arredato con gusto e classe, il personale ci ha accolto con gentilezza, siamo stati ben consigliati sui piatti ( avevamo voglia di tartufo, e qui e' il posto giusto ), e anche sul vino, Daniele ci ha raccontato il territorio e i vari produttori meritevoli, carta dei vini notevole, per me e' molto importante.... Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente.

03/03/2025: Very nice environment. We could only hear the gusts of air coming from the drafts in the windows. Excellent food! Drinks presented very well (very scenic). Service left something to be desired. I think they need to organize themselves better or add more staff for table service. Because several tables that arrived after us and other customers were served first and the rest of us were left waiting a long time to order drinks and then to be served. We did Valentine's evening. There were petals and balloons and the very nice DJ who every so often let the people who were present choose some music of their liking and also the possibility of doing Karaoke. We didn't book. We ate well and the food was affordable.

01/03/2025: We came by chance, found it on the internet and were tempted by the excellent reviews, a small but very welcoming (very familiar) pizzeria, as soon as we entered we were immediately greeted with a smile by the girls and the owner, I love being welcomed with a smile because it gives you so much serenity, very good pizza by the meter and coming from a Sicilian like me it's no small feat, finding a place in the north that makes good pizza is almost like winning a lottery, it's really good here, even quality ingredients and a not very high price. We will probably come from Casale Monferrato other times. 5 STARS OVERALL. Highly recommended

20/02/2025: Good evening, I wanted to share my experience, I ordered two "large" margherita pizzas for the first time to take away, I repeat it because maybe if you eat it on the spot it's different but they won't hear from me again, but not out of malice, but when I called the sixth sense didn't give much positivity, the girl on the phone was missing only asking you for the tax code and the map via email even if we live four streets away (but I'll leave it aside, it's just my thought), I had given the time as 8.30pm and he replies eh 8.30pm/9.00pm because we have a half hour gap and they still managed to arrive late even if by a few minutes but I say you have 30 minutes, then let's talk about the pizza, it's a wooden block and almost cold, and 16 euros for two margherita pizzas, of medium size and not as large as they think it is, which also seem to be reheated, no thanks, I had high expectations based on the reviews but also no. I ate more while my partner obviously had to order another one from somewhere else

03/03/2025: My partner, I and the children were very happy with the choice to have lunch in this restaurant. It was Sunday and we were in Ovada and we went in, by chance, with the children who were hungry and all four of us were satisfied!

12/03/2025: Excellent catering initiative also of a social nature in a simple environment and immersed in the greenery of the gardens in the neighborhood of the same name. Good choice of dishes. From appetizers to dessert, everything excellent including the value for money. Open only for lunch and closed on Sundays. For events and ceremonies it is possible to make different arrangements. Given the large presence especially for business lunches it is better to book. Recommended.
