Slightly on a hill, surrounded by greenery, breezy on hot days

The menu is extensive and carefully curated, as is the wine list. All the dishes we tried were truly excellent: the beef tartare with marrow was exceptional, as was the white asparagus on a mascarpone, parmesan, and pancetta fondue—truly delicious. The agnolotti with ragù and the plin pasta were also good, with a more delicate yet balanced flavor. The bread and the small pastries served at the end were also excellent. The staff were very kind, smiling, and polite. The restaurant is also conveniently located near the highway exit.

I can only say everything was excellent from the food to the venue and location of the venue, congratulations

I highly recommend it and hope to return soon. 1) Ambience - You enter and you don't feel like you're in a restaurant, but rather in a home: comfortable, enveloping, and warm. - Plates, glasses, and cutlery are meticulously crafted, with narrow edges and sharp knives. 2) Food - The menu is clean and not overwhelming (in my opinion, this is a plus, as it means they specialize in the dishes they serve). Excellent appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The desserts are also truly fantastic, rounding out the menu perfectly. - Excellent quality ingredients. - Very pleasant wine list, with many labels, including those from small local and organic producers. 3) Service - Courteous, smiling, and above all, friendly. As mentioned before, it feels like a family home. - Hot dishes are piping hot, and they help keep the food warm. Thank you for this wonderful lunch. I hope to return soon.

A real discovery, we had a really good time, the food was excellent and well-prepared, and the place was very romantic and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

I have to add something to my review from 5 years ago: nothing has changed, an excellent lunch at a price in line with the restaurant's quality, even taking into account the truffle. Anti-Covid regulations were scrupulously respected. Excellent menu at reasonable prices. A quiet place where we will definitely return.

A place with soul... well-made dishes, excellent raw materials, discreet and attentive service, friendly staff. Excellent value for money (which is not high) if I lived near Ovada, it would be one of my favorite restaurants! Kudos to those who run it.
