I recommend an obligatory stop for anyone traveling on the A26 motorway, exit at Ovada and go to have lunch at the La Volpina restaurant. Elegant atmosphere, very friendly staff and excellent food. The tartare on bone and marrow is fantastic, the cheek with saffron purée is delicious, the same goes for tagliatelle with porcini mushroom sauce. Very good desserts. The friendliness and professionalism with which they welcomed and served us, and the excellent food prepared by the chef is worth a stop. Highly recommended

Potato molto carino alla uscita del casello di Ovada. Ciò e mangiare a casa della nonna. Meno gustoso e prezzi ragionevoli. Servizio gentile ma sicuramente lento. È un posto dove non si può andare in fretta. Favoloso il coniglio in porchetta. Assaggio di formaggi molto vario e generoso. Ti danno un entre e dei biscotti con il caffè. Merita la pena. Abbiamo pagato una media di 50€/ persona.

The last 100 meters are a little uncomfortable (steep climb), but this is the only thing that "is out of place", but once you have your feet under the table you forget the slight discomfort. Excellent dishes in a family environment (you're at home) and a good choice of wines. Go and you won't regret the visit.

In una bellissima posizione collinare, questo bel ristorante ci accoglie con ambienti raffinati e cibo eccellente. Siamo stati molto soddisfatti.

Cucina di alta qualità, ovviamente preparata con grande attenzione: complimenti allo chef! Dolci un po’ sotto il livello degli altri piatti.. Servizio in po lento e poco sorridente. Posto comunque piacevole. Consigliato!

Super resto quand je suis partis en vacance au top, j'ai eu la chance de goûter à des plats délicieux et savoureux. La cuisine était raffinée et les ingrédients frais. J'ai été agréablement surpris par le service attentionné et professionnel du personnel. L'ambiance était également très agréable, avec une décoration élégante et une musique douce en fond sonore. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant à tous ceux qui recherchent une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle lors de leurs vacances.

Esperienza che consiglio a tutti. Piatti ottimi, buona varietà e buona carta dei vini. Mi pento solo di aver aspettato così tanto prima di provare questo ristorante nonostante i consigli di vari amici.

The gastronomic offer is excellent: in addition to the menu, a very rich tasting menu (including vegetarian), which allows you to try various Monferrato specialties, the tartare is amazing, but everything is excellent. Wines as imaginable, especially the Grignolino is recommended (also in the sparkling and chinato versions). Super quality/price ratio. Worth trying, also for the possibility of visiting one of the typical "infernot" (underground chamber dug into the Pietra da Cantoni), characteristic of the area (Monferrato of the infernot according to UNESCO)
