Everything was executed to a very high level — the quality of the ingredients, the balance of flavours, and the overall precision in the cooking all stood out. It’s rare to experience this level of consistency across an entire meal. What impressed most was how refined everything felt without being overworked or trying too hard. Just confident, well-judged cooking that delivers throughout. Service was also top notch — attentive, polished, and perfectly judged without being intrusive, which made the experience even more enjoyable dining solo. Having dined at some of the top restaurants in central London, this genuinely outperforms many of them. If you care about food, this is a must-visit.

11/11/2025: One of my favorite gelaterias :') A small gelateria that offers amazing flavors, both fruit and creamy. The other day I had the chance to try the wonderful mini vegan cheesecakes for the first time, which we ordered for delivery after dinner, and I think I'm addicted. Thank you Gianni for offering so many vegan options <3

25/10/2025: A small neighborhood gelateria with that extra something that quickly made it my favorite in Milan. The kindness and attentiveness of the owner and staff are reflected in the attention to detail of the small but well-stocked shop. And most importantly, can we talk about all those vegan flavors? They even have whipped cream!!! 🥹

04/03/2026: A truly delightful dinner at Da Salvatore – a Sicilian trattoria in Milan. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and welcoming, with an elegant atmosphere that tastefully evokes Sicilian tradition: ceramics, colors, and decorative details create a warm and refined atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. I chose linguine allo scoglio, a dish prepared with great balance: ultra-fresh fish, flavorful yet delicate sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. A flavorful dish, well executed and enhanced by a good glass of wine. To round out the dinner, some excellent Sicilian almond pastries, light, fragrant, and perfect for a sweet, yet not overwhelming, finish. A special thanks to the wife of the owner and chef Salvatore, who welcomes guests with great warmth and professionalism, carefully guiding them through the menu. Her presence contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. A restaurant that elegantly expresses the flavors of Sicily in the heart of Milan. Definitely a place to return to.

03/04/2026: Had a great dinner here 2 nights ago whilst we were in Milan for our honeymoon. I had the lobster linguine and it was delicious with generous portion. Best seafood pasta I have had in Italy so far. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his Ragu Bolognese. Huge shout out to our waiter Mimmo who was so chatty and fun and gave great service.

07/03/2026: Went to Il Cannolo twice while visiting Milan. Our favorite Cannoli place! I brought my dog, named Cannoli, in his Cannoli bag. Signora who served us was so incredibly kind. We enjoyed our Cannoli’s very much! Would return to Milan just for these Cannoli’s! Grazie mille!

14/12/2025: I go there very often; the owners are very welcoming and make you feel at home. I have a little dog who's always welcome, and I really appreciate that. The owners are down-to-earth people and always treat their customers with extreme kindness and affection. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to have a coffee or an aperitif while still feeling at home.

07/12/2025: I fell in love with this bar almost immediately because as soon as you enter you find yourself in old Milan both for the decor and the service (the welcome and friendliness), now very few of which remain.

21/03/2026: My partner and I have been frequenting this takeout pizzeria for over a month and are truly satisfied! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Our favorite pizzas are the salsiccia e friarielli and the Valtellina: both delicious and always well-topped with quality ingredients. The dough is truly exceptional, light and easily digestible, but above all, it doesn't leave that annoying feeling of heaviness after eating. Fair prices. Highly recommended.
