26/05/2026: I ordered paella to go for 60 people. It arrived right on time, and the three trays were a sight to behold, as well as delicious. I received compliments from everyone, and many asked me for directions. Thank you so much for everything.

24/05/2026: The place is a converted warehouse. The appetizers and dessert were good, but I was disappointed by the flavorless paella and the overcooked rice. I had to wait way too long, even between appetizers... more than two hours to finish dinner. Considering all this, the bill was too expensive at €50 per person.

14/12/2025: I'm here now waiting for dessert, the food is excellent but the waiting staff is incompetent and there aren't many people. Anyway, I'll go back, the cappelletti are UNESCO heritage.

01/11/2025: If you want catfish and fried fish, all immersed in a typical Mantua atmosphere that's still intact, this is the place to be. The courteous and professional service is highly appreciated, always in keeping with tradition.

11/06/2026: Very good food, top-notch service, the only downside: we booked dinner for seven on The Fork and they didn't give us the discount because we had more than four people. It's a shame, seven people won't be returning. They're happy, everyone's happy.

07/06/2026: A very beautiful, well-kept, and charming place, it feels like you're in another era. Courteous staff and excellent food. The appetizers are plentiful and of excellent quality, and the grilled meats are exceptionally good. Highly recommended.

07/06/2026: Just try finding cloth napkins these days. You’ll find them here! While paper napkins are the norm everywhere, in every restaurant these days, here you get those fine, almost old-fashioned, large, fine napkins, just as if you were dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant! Now, my Pizza Carbonara was certainly star-worthy as well. Delicious! Al Portico is a nice, down-to-earth restaurant that we had initially skipped in favor of the neighbor who had a higher rating. That turned out to be a miscalculation. The only downside was the dessert menu with a lot of store-bought desserts. After all, in a restaurant you expect them to make the desserts themselves. Moreover, a large number of those desserts were out of stock. That is something to keep in mind.
