21/04/2026: My absolute favorite place. Everything I order is excellent and different from all the others, clearly in a good way. They have both timeless dishes (like the risotto alla Milanese with ossobuco, the best I've ever had) and seasonal dishes that change frequently. Luciana is an exceptional cook and is always available to accommodate guests' requests. Giuseppe's desserts are fantastic. My absolute favorite place.

12/04/2026: The place and staff were very welcoming, and the food was excellent. For being a bit outside of Milan, the prices were a bit high. We ordered a bottle of wine, two dishes, and their respective sides. In our area, they might offer the amaro at the counter when you go to pay, but it's a €5 bill. We didn't bat an eyelid, but it would have been that little touch that would have made us happy and want to recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

Today I want to give it 5 stars overall because: Food: Every single dish is flavorful and served generously on large plates. Every forkful is a true journey!!! Service: It's a family business, from mother to father to son. They make sure everyone enjoys everything, and above all, every dish is left with a genuine smile and a word of encouragement. You're not just a customer, you're a welcome guest who's in the "home." Wonderful!! Ambience: Traditional Italian osteria, clean and tidy. Aldo, Carlo, and their mother are truly loving and wonderful people, and you can see that all the customers have the same attitude. Fantastic

06/04/2026: A great find in Sesto San Giovanni. Happy Moments is one of those restaurants where you enter without high expectations and leave feeling truly satisfied. Four of us dined here and started with a mix of raw and hot appetizers: truly phenomenal. The aroma and flavor of the seafood were evident, with generous portions and ingredients whose quality and freshness immediately stood out. The appetizers are also very refined, and the staff is there to guide you through each dish, explaining every detail, which really makes the difference. For our first courses, we tried the spaghetti allo scoglio al cartoccio (served in a special way, sealed in cling film) and the spaghetti all'astice. Both dishes were well-made, flavorful, and meticulously prepared. The price was also very positive: looking at the menu, the prices were absolutely fair and in line with the quality offered. We finished with a spectacular, top-quality rum, served spectacularly from a very long bottle: a detail that made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always available and never intrusive. Attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere make it perfect for a dinner with friends. Recommended for those looking for a good seafood restaurant in Sesto San Giovanni, without having to travel far from Milan.

Prices are reasonable for Milanese standards, and are definitely affordable if you book with the discounts offered by The Fork. We often stop by for dinner and have always been satisfied. I highly recommend booking.

14/04/2026: A small castle with stylish, rambling rooms. Unfortunately, I only stayed one night while passing through. I will definitely book it again on my next trip to Milan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and very well-equipped. The reception is open 24 hours a day.

10/04/2026: I made a reservation at the Grand Hotel Villa Torretta Milan Sesto as part of my trip to Italy for the Olympics. I booked a presidential suite. The first thing we noticed was how rude and dismissive the front desk was in comparison to other parts of Italy. They scoffed at our rental car and commented on my friend's American Eagle jacket, as if it weren't "good enough" for their hotel. Once we checked into our suite, we immediately noted excessive noise and bass reverberating throughout the suite. We informed management promptly; they said they are aware of the issue, which was due to hotel events being hosted by the hotel next door. We kindly requested to be relocated to a quieter space, but the hotel refused and said the noise would subside eventually. They did not provide an exact time and, much to our dismay, the noise continued past midnight. We were very disappointed about this and were unable to sleep for much of the night. The hotel failed to make any accommodations whatsoever, so my party and I decided it would be best to cancel day 2 of our 2-day stay and leave the hotel in the morning. At ~8am on Sunday, February 15th we informed the front desk that we no longer wished to stay at the hotel, as it was far too loud for us to reasonably fall asleep. They expressed remorse for the inconvenience and verbally told me they would talk to upper management about having the second night cancelled, but that for the time being we should just go ahead and check out as normal. They assured us that this would be handled the next day (Monday) as it was a Sunday morning when we checked out and they were understaffed on the weekend with regard to upper management. Had the hotel offered to relocate us to a quieter room or provided some kind of assurance that they would refrain from creating noise for the remainder of our stay, we would have considered staying. However, the hotel itself was directly responsible for this noise, as it was due to events they were hosting and they refused to relocate us to a different room. To this end, we were effectively forced to check out one day early. When I returned home, I learned that the hotel had charged me the full cost of the second night and that the “early departure fee” on the receipt was equivalent to the full price of the stay. This is not what was communicated to me at check out by the front desk, nor do I believe it is fair to charge us for a good/service that was not provided. In short, this is not what one would expect of a supposedly high end hotel that is on the list of American Express's highly rated partner hotels. The location was far away from downtown Milan, requiring one to take a bus and a long-train ride or fork over a large sum of money for a cab. Between the lack of accountability, poor-service, disingenuous verbal communication, remote location, and excessive noise, I'm sorry to say that this was easily one of the worst (if not the worst) hotel experiences of my life. I would avoid this venue at all costs. They don't care about their guests and it's patently obvious from the minute you set foot in the lobby.

02/05/2026: An unexpected and delightful family dinner in Sesto San Giovanni. Yes, because at Al Pomo d'Oro, you truly experience a family atmosphere: relaxed, simple, and without unnecessary frills. If you want to eat well in an informal setting, this is the place. Having made a reservation, I didn't have to wait to be seated; the reserved tables were waiting for us with personalized tickets in sight. The staff is welcoming and multiethnic, perfectly in keeping with the city's current social fabric. I was very impressed by their attentiveness to customers, discreet yet constant, always keeping a close eye on the tables and asking more than one question to make sure everything was to our liking. We chose pizza, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The idea of ​​having draft beer served in a chilled mug was excellent, chilled to the last sip, just as it should be 👍🏻 The pizza won me over especially for its dough: thin but soft, well-cooked, a balance not so common to find. We didn't try the desserts, but the coffee deserves a special mention. For me, it's the real "icing on the cake" of an Italian meal, and here it far exceeded expectations, which is far from a given. The final bill? Really fair, another plus. I'll definitely return with family and friends to try the restaurant's cuisine, which offers both local and international dishes.
