01/06/2026: It was a pleasant discovery! I chose it at the suggestion of a dear friend as a venue for a 50th birthday party. Not knowing the place, I went there 3 or 4 times before the party. Excellent for both dinner and aperitifs, and the pizza was also very good... quality ingredients and attention to detail. The staff is kind and helpful, and Giulia is an excellent host. The party also went very well; the guests and the birthday boy were delighted, and I was even happier! See you soon ❤️

23/05/2026: I ordered 2 maroons and an empty broche that was raw, I'd say inedible. I took it back with no reaction from the staff. I reported it to the cashier, and the response was that, in short, the problem was ours alone. For them, it was good. Well, I paid for the brioche, which I later realized was chocolate, at 2.20. Mmmmmm, inexperienced and arrogant staff.

13/06/2026: Don't go there to photograph the dishes If your goal is to fill Instagram with perfect photos of the dishes, this might not be the place for you. Not because the dishes aren't beautiful to look at, on the contrary. But because, as soon as you walk in the door and are greeted by Riccardo, the host, just like the ones they used to be, you immediately understand that the experience here is different. At Taverna, you don't just go to eat. You savor everything: the setting, the background music, the conversation, the aromas, the atmosphere, and, of course, the dishes. When the first course arrives, your phone stays where it is. Not because anyone forbids it, but because you simply don't think about it. You're too busy enjoying the moment. It's a throwback to when we went out to dinner for the pleasure of being together and eating well, not to talk about it on social media. Maybe, later, you'll think: "Damn, I didn't take a picture!" But I assure you, you won't care much. More food will arrive, and once again, your smartphone will stay in your pocket. You won't return home with anything extra in your gallery, but with something inside that you won't "empty" from your memory to free up space.

11/05/2026: One star, but read zero!!! There were nine of us, including my mom, as we were celebrating her birthday, but it turned into a nightmare. The place was very dirty, though quaint, so if it were a museum I would have given it 5 stars, but since it's a tavern of ancient flavors (?????) you go there to eat, I repeat, ZERO stars!! Nothing served, after a very long wait, was even slightly enjoyable: risottos, about 30 grams per person, cold and flavorless, ossobuco inedible because too tough, polenta cheap and tasteless, meat on a wooden skewer that had been used hundreds of times, so charred and raw that a good portion was left over. But rock bottom was reached with my brother, who after more than two hours, after repeated reminders and subsequent reassurances from the staff, never received the very simple purple gnocchi. And since he had to go to work that afternoon, he left without eating ANYTHING!!! There's so much more to say, but I'll stop here. I've never come across a place like this in my entire life. Obviously, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Rereading it, I realized I was too kind.

04/06/2026: Historic Chinese restaurant. Moderate prices and consistently high quality. Clean and tidy. Always a pleasure.

03/06/2026: Excellent value for money! Historic place. A vegan eats very well and generously. My top dish: Tofu with mushrooms and bamboo 😋
