30/03/2024: Pleasant menu based on traditional dishes interpreted with skill and excellent ingredients

30/03/2024: This restaurant was a delight! Everyone here was so kind and accommodating, both when we needed to arrive slightly late and with me being the non-Italian speaker (my friend took the lead). They had great recommendations for the wine and our food choices. I had the Agnolotto Classico with the Semplice sauce and my friend had the Agnolotto Magro in the broth and we loved both of them. We shared the La Guancia di Vitello and Tiramisu and loved them both. I loved the overall vibe and environment.

18/02/2024: Yesterday, Saturday evening, it was packed with both local and takeaway customers. I have been a regular customer for 1 year and yesterday I had KEBAB. Good Very Good Quality vegetables meat cooking and the most important thing, THE AFTER. By eating something of real quality you don't have problems afterwards such as having to drink liters and liters of water to compensate for the dehydration of certain foods. I was amazed ........ exceptional PETER AND STAFF ................ GUYS, wherever you are in the area or outside go and TRY IT!!!!!!

17/03/2024: Excellent gelato. A bit too soft, perhaps indicating that it wasn't cold enough where it was stored, but I may be wrong, just personal opinion. The two flavors I tried, crema and dark chocolate, were delicious. I will definitely be returning and will recommend the place.

07/04/2024: Very small but nice breakfast café in the Brera district! There aren't many places! We sat outside even though the weather wasn't great! The tables are covered! Very nice service and super tasty sandwiches!

03/04/2024: Extremely rude waiter, very average at best food! There are MUCH better restaurants in the area. After terrible service, the foolish waiter actually thought we were going to tip him - I think NOT! LOL Get over yourself!

02/04/2024: Now a very famous place in Milan. To book a table you have to set the alarm and hope to be one of the lucky ones... you book with a window of 3 weeks in advance. Sore point, discovered only when sitting at the table, they no longer make grilled osso bucco. Too many requests and few pieces available. Given the Machiavellian booking mechanism, I would suggest being able to order the osso bucco when booking. Vitel tuna always very good. Perfect cooking of the meat and excellent tuna sauce. The choice of the menu leaves me a little disappointed so I choose a cut and my wife the fried brain.... Which results in too much vinegar. I made the mistake of taking tiramisu, because I forgot that I don't like it here. They don't use ladyfingers but (I think) pavesini. In the end we leave a little disappointed with the choice of dishes and because if you have difficulty booking, then you can't leave happy with just the veal with tuna. The rest is good but not so good as to justify what is written above. We will be back? Maybe when we feel like a good veal with tuna

31/03/2024: Now a fixed stop for a Neapolitan like me who wants to eat fish-based dishes. Top raw material, high level preparation, properties that support the management of the tables with all the relevant benefits and absolutely aligned prices. Well done, see you next time 💪

21/02/2024: Serata all’insegna del gustoso cibo africano, ingredienti armonici e di prima qualità. Dopo l’ottimo antipasto, la proposta del piatto unico è risultata molto bilanciata. La simpaticissima signora in sala ci ha consigliato al meglio su cosa scegliere in base alle nostre esigenze. Musica gradevole di sottofondo. Dolci non africani ma sublimi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

18/02/2024: Ristorante essenziale, pulito, con pochi tavoli, gestito dalla madre in sala e dal figlio in cucina. La titolare e’ presente e cordiale, molto attenta e prodiga di suggerimenti sul menu’ e sul vino. I piatti sono ottimi, ben presentati e si sente che il prodotto è di qualità. Buonissimi i Samosa di pasta fillo ripieni di verdura. La portata principale è un armonioso piatto unico a base di riso profumato o cous cous, con verdure croccanti, salsa a scelta di accompagnamento e selezione di carni o pesce. Piacevolmente stupiti anche dall’alto livello della proposta di dolci italiani al cucchiaio che i titolari tengono a curare anche se naturalmente non rientrano nella loro cucina etnica. Madre e figlio si intrattengono a chiacchierare piacevolmente con gli ospiti contribuendo a creare un’atmosfera rilassata e “confidenziale”. Bella serata!

27/03/2024: I discovered Vic through a friend, the environment is old style, sober, elegant, the staff is kind and professional, the chef is a must to meet! I started the dinner with a space focaccia made by them, continued with excellent white wine Smile, an excellent red tuna tartare, as was the artichoke and parmesan salad (simple but quality) a red snapper served with very abundant baked potatoes and chosen before being cooked (difficult choice because the fish was obviously fresh and I would have eaten them all). I recommend trying Vic's.
