14/11/2025: Passing through Como, we stumbled upon this beautiful and colorful Argentinean restaurant. Fabulous food, in a welcoming and festive atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly. I recommend it to everyone! I hope to return!

27/10/2025: We went into Baita del Vichingo to get two coffees. When we said we'd pay by card, the man at the register (presumably the owner) reacted by raising his voice and saying that for two euros he was "pissed off" (literally) and that "for two euros he'd give them to us." We understand that in a distant world, cash might be preferred, but in 2025, sometimes you don't have change. What surprised us was the way he handled the situation, seeking approval from those present and making us feel uncomfortable. A polite explanation would have sufficed. We chose to leave without consuming anything.
26/10/2025: A basic inn, service could be improved, and food is good. Prices are average. The view is exceptional, almost breathtaking.

04/01/2026: Unfortunately, I wouldn't return or recommend it... despite having booked two days in advance, upon our punctual arrival (January 3, 2026, at 1:15 PM) on a particularly cold day, with an empty indoor dining room, they seated us on a cold outdoor veranda with inefficient heating. The service and friendliness are not at all Bolognese (true Bolognese is different...), and the portions are not at all trattoria-like.
What a shame!

10/12/2025: The best takeout pizzeria in the area. The owner is incredibly kind and makes delicious pizzas with plenty of toppings, always fresh, and at fair prices.

The panna cotta was just okay
The pizza dough was fine, but the quality of the toppings definitely wasn't the best
There's also a 2.5 EUR service charge per person
All in all, I can't recommend this place, even though it seems to be popular with locals

28/12/2025: Everything was excellent for Christmas this year. We had lunch at the restaurant. Everything was good. Excellent service and friendly, helpful staff.
15/12/2025: Good food, well cooked.
The owner was there to check if everything was okay.
The dining room was very nice, with atmospheric windows.
Perhaps it could have been a little cheaper since there was only a second course.

28/01/2026: I used to come here often in the late '90s; I had an office nearby. I rediscovered them last year, by chance, and I return every now and then. They're incredibly friendly, even when it's crowded, a rarity in Como.
Always the best, the authentic piadina that the competition that has emerged in the meantime can only dream of.

25/02/2026: Excellent food, but it's the soul of the place that makes the difference. The paella is exquisite and the meat is superb!!! Matteo and his partner make you feel like guests more than customers: he's down-to-earth, friendly, and like one of the family. We left with a smile and a free bag of herbs for our herbal tea, a truly thoughtful touch. Definitely book a table to enjoy this carefree experience. We'll definitely be back.
