13/06/2026: The restaurant's terrace is definitely the real attraction. The food is satisfying. The breakfast is excellent. The room, despite having a nice terrace, leaves much to be desired and...perhaps a bit expensive for the quality.

24/04/2026: I'd give it six stars if I could. The tagliatelle with venison ragù were excellent and plentiful. Finally, a first course with ragù that you can see and taste. The braised venison, what can I say? It's the best I've had in years. It was delicious and melted in your mouth. And last but not least, the friendliness and courtesy. Compliments.

19/04/2026: A delightful place, where you can find the right rhythm, with the owners making it a comfortable place to spend lunch. The menu is rich in mountain dishes, but crafted with haute cuisine. We had sciatt, gnocchi, and braised beef. Try everything. It's definitely an experience worth repeating.

29/10/2025: An unassuming stand with delicious sandwiches. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and the rolls are freshly prepared. The gentleman behind the counter is very friendly. I highly recommend it 😃

13/10/2025: This little tiny Bistro, coffee and sandwich shop sitting on the corner with outdoor seating. Food was fantastic. Service was excellent. A great spot to watch Italian life.

30/05/2026: This restaurant was a highlight of our recent holiday. We went on two occasions and the service, ambience and food was excellent. The Pizzoccheri was soo good, both times. Recommended to let them know in advance if you want to eat there.

27/05/2026: Unique restaurant with typical regional dishes. The menu is limited, but offers plenty of options to enjoy. The restaurant is set back slightly from the main road. It is run by a married couple: he cooks and she serves. Take the time to enjoy yourself in peace and quiet. Small restaurant with 8 tables.

19/05/2026: We spent two nights about ten days ago at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Perched right on the lake, its location is ideal. The room we were given wasn't quite right, but for a small extra charge, we were given another. It was large, clean, well-equipped, and perfect, with a view of the lake. Just a hundred meters from the dock where you can take a boat trip around the lake, stopping at various ports of call, you eventually reach Bellagio, a charming little town. In short, I highly recommend this hotel. I should add that the owner, a Frenchman, was welcoming and friendly.

03/05/2026: We had reserved a table at this restaurant for our last evening at Lake Como. Our expectations were quite high due to the good reviews. We got a table right by the water. When we opened the menu, the prices initially shocked us. Yes, Lake Como is expensive, and we're happy to spend more for good food... but paying almost €30 for a 'normal' pasta dish was still a bit much. Well, since it was our last evening, we ordered what we fancied anyway (one pasta with pistachio cream and prawns, one fish with a side dish). Both were €30 each, plus a side salad (which consisted of just a few green leaves, some other carelessly arranged bits and pieces, and far too much dressing made from plain yogurt). This salad then cost an unbelievable €14. A bottle of wine started at €30 (online price €12). To our disappointment, the food didn't really live up to expectations. My pasta tasted of absolutely nothing. It was so bland that any homemade sauce would taste better. There were a maximum of three prawns on the plate, cut into tiny pieces. My partner's fish was lukewarm. For the price, we simply expected more. The only time anyone asked if everything was okay was at the very end, when the table was finally cleared. I said "well," and poof, the plates were gone, and no one asked any further questions. The female server (with short hair on the sides) was very friendly. The male server (with a larger belly), on the other hand, seemed forcedly friendly and was rather unpleasant. We definitely wouldn't come back. Yes, the view was nice, but you can get that almost anywhere on Lake Como.

18/05/2026: We had high expectations for La Colombetta, the Tuna Tartare was amazing! However, we were not asked how we would like our filet cooked, and it came basically uncooked. By the time our server came to check on our meal, my wife and I had shared our other entree, and our server was very forceful in that we should’ve asked to have the filet cooked more once it arrived, when it would’ve have been impossible to recreate the dish in the first place, given the sauce. When the bill came, our server exclaimed that our starter, tuna tartare, should have a 20% split charge. Bummed overall by the experience.

13/05/2026: Being vegetarians we booked a table for dining last fall but couldn't cancel it despite enough advance notice. We were advised that it was clearly mentioned on the restaurant website that the 50 Euro deposit (pp) was nonrefundable in the event of cancellation (this should have set off alarm bells) but can only be used for a later visit. Anyway, we moved our reservation to a visit this spring. We were told in advance that we will have vegetarian options available. Unfortunately, both entrees that we ordered (Tagliolini with black truffle and Asparagus gratin and eggs with black truffles) were anything but extraordinary. The Asparagus gratin literally consisted of some shaved truffles and half fried egg laid over some asparagus shoots. So much for gourmet food. The staff was extraordinary in their service but food quality was no where close to the high praise that we had come across in the reviews. Interestingly, we were the only diners in the whole restaurant for a good 2 hours we were there that night!

18/05/2026: The worst service we've had in Italy thus far. It's a shame, cause the pizza we had was ok. Not the best, not the worst. But wow, the service.. first, we got seated at a table all the way in the back, close to the kitchen, where the kitchen doors were banging every 10 seconds - this would have not been an issue if it was the only table available - but there were so many that were free (and not reserved either!). I asked if we could move, one lady reluctantly accepted. Then we asked for a plate for our daughter so that we could share food with her, they forgot, had to remind them. The worst moment came when a lady came to get a place on which we still had food. I got the fork to eat it and she said something I didn't understand while looking very fed up. Then she came again and this time she got my husband's plate, who was still eating and had a slice of pizza in his hand!! No asking, no putting it back when seeing that he was still wating. So incredibly rude. This place is a disservice to all the wonderful service we've had in all other Italian restaurants.
