18/06/2025: I had the pleasure of photographing a couple at Grand Hotel Imperiale, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel offers a perfect mix of elegance and classic Lake Como charm. Beautiful lake views, stylish interiors, and a peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal setting for wedding photography. Would happily return anytime.

11/05/2025: I gave 3 stars because the value for money isn't there. Very beautiful and suggestive location with a swimming pool directly on the lake, the bar behind it is very nice but the deckchairs in the pool are old and uncomfortable from the 80s. The hotel garden is fabulous and well cared for but the hotel toilet in the basement is dirty and smelly already at 11 in the morning. Furthermore, the standard rooms are really small, you can barely move. Uncomfortable and old mattress and in the duvet cover instead of a duvet a wool blanket. When a customer spends certain amounts these details are really unpleasant. Come on put more effort into it it's such a nice hotel in a potential location

06/07/2025: My insider tip in Como, and we almost didn't get in because the restaurant is very unassuming. Inside, however, a visual and culinary delight is revealed. This place is different! From the decor to the small menu and the great music. Not to mention the friendly service!

03/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati per una merenda a base di torta di mirtilli fatta in casa, con dei mirtilli freschi e saporiti. 🫐🥧Un buon caffè ha accompagnato la nostra pausa . ☕️ Personale cortese e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Lo spazio interno e’ pulito e luminoso, peccato non aver usufruito dei tavoli all’esterno perché già occupati.🍽️ La prossima volta sarà sicuramente per un pranzo con ricette locali.

15/06/2025: On Saturday we celebrated my niece's baptism in this wonderful agriturismo. I am vegan and my husband is vegetarian. A few days before the event I contacted Mrs. Magda (really kind and helpful) to ask if it was possible to have some dishes suitable for us. Since it is a agriturismo, where therefore most of the dishes are meat-based, I admit that I had little hope: I was thinking of the usual two boiled vegetables... And instead we were pleasantly surprised! They prepared a truly excellent menu for us, tasty and abundant, from the appetizer to the dessert! They used many fresh aromatic herbs, such as thyme and mint, which gave the dishes a fresh and delicious flavor. The vegetarian menu was also excellent and rich. A sincere thank you to Mrs. Magda and all the staff for the attention and care you gave us. It was all perfect!

25/05/2025: Comunione 25/05/2025 servizio ottimo ci siamo trovati bene per tutto portate abbondanti il menù vario e adatto a piccoli e grandi . Il riso con taleggio e mele molto buono , roastbeef fresco e gustoso. Invitati e Diego il festeggiato felici

18/07/2025: Highly not recommended for a place to have breakfast outside, sitting down. They never serve staff who are incapable of monitoring the situation for at least half an hour, unless you go and find someone yourself. It's better if you have it at the counter. Also, they have a pastry shop and at 10 in the morning they're always out of the classic croissants. Their good thing is their location.

10/07/2025: A great place for an aperitif, snack, or breakfast. The only problem is that if there aren't many people sitting outside, the staff tends not to come out to check on a customer. In fact, we've had to wait over 20 minutes before anyone notices us several times.

19/07/2025: They are very nice! You have to park in a parking lot in the square. Just outside the old town. The little square of Sant'Antonoo is very lively. The room was clean and spacious. There were no soaps in the shower, but otherwise it was ok! The restaurant is good. The other one in town is also good.

08/08/2025: Quiet village on the shores of Lake Lugano. Terrace with lake views. Hearty and al dente spaghetti allo scoglio. Good selection of mussels, clams, and shrimp. Pleasant lunch break. Service a little slow.

11/06/2025: We enjoyed the wonderful views. The building and the terrace are also beautiful. The gnocchi are quite good, and the sauce is very special. What disappointed us was, first, the starter. A shrimp on a supposed gazpacho that was more of a simple tomato sauce with few vegetables. The shrimp batter softened upon contact with the base. Then the duck was overcooked and dry. Finally, we ordered chocolate ice cream, which was obviously not homemade. Overall, the food was inferior to other, much cheaper restaurants on the lake. Afterwards, we couldn't pay at the table and had to go to the hotel reception. A young waiter was very friendly with us. The rest didn't even ask us how the food was. It's a shame; the location and the views would have made for a very pleasant experience. If you want to eat well, you'd better go somewhere else (based on our experience).

01/05/2025: Pleasant lunch in a wonderful location. Offering both meat and fish on the menu, it was very good and well prepared. The service was very friendly, very kind waiters and manager. We stopped by chance during a motorbike tour and although without a reservation, they were quick and helpful in finding us a place. We will definitely return for dinner because the food, service and location are worth it.

09/08/2025: Abbiamo deciso di cenare con una paella di pesce e ci è piaciuta! Il locale è molto classico, potrebbe sembrare fanè, ma dignitoso, pulito, spazioso e con personale gentile. Quando andiamo non rimaniamo mai delusi. Il prezzo è in linea.

04/08/2025: The second course of fish was smelly, therefore not fresh, and was not consumed. Dinner ruined. Not recommended.

24/06/2025: It is a beer house with pizzas, giant hamburger sandwiches and a restaurant. Good choice of beer even if there are several types on the menu the brand is not mentioned.

08/06/2025: Large and comfortable outdoor garden for summer evenings; smaller but tidy and pleasant indoor space. Multiple varieties of beers, average price. Definitely good service, despite the many impeccable and kind seats. The cuisine in general leaves a bit to be desired, they could improve it (watch out for the grilled meat, it seemed reheated and not made at the moment). In light of this, the prices are above what the place offers.
