As always a wonderful meal with attentive service. Very quiet at lunch and a bit lacking in atmosphere. It did not distract from the excellent food and lovely staff.

Being vegetarians we booked a table for dining last fall but couldn't cancel it despite enough advance notice. We were advised that it was clearly mentioned on the restaurant website that the 50 Euro deposit (pp) was nonrefundable in the event of cancellation (this should have set off alarm bells) but can only be used for a later visit. Anyway, we moved our reservation to a visit this spring. We were told in advance that we will have vegetarian options available. Unfortunately, both entrees that we ordered (Tagliolini with black truffle and Asparagus gratin and eggs with black truffles) were anything but extraordinary. The Asparagus gratin literally consisted of some shaved truffles and half fried egg laid over some asparagus shoots. So much for gourmet food. The staff was extraordinary in their service but food quality was no where close to the high praise that we had come across in the reviews. Interestingly, we were the only diners in the whole restaurant for a good 2 hours we were there that night!

Excellent, upscale Italian cuisine! Highly recommended! It's run by a family and only women, so you feel very welcome!

We were once again absolutely delighted with everything! The food is of very high quality! From the steak tartare and octopus salad to the lobster tagliatelle, everything was delicious! The wine recommendation paired perfectly with the meal. The service was, as always, very discreet and attentive. Thank you for a relaxing evening! The ambiance in this old church is very cozy.

We spent a truly wonderful Saint Valentine’s evening at La Colombetta in Como, and it was an experience we will not forget. The seafood was outstanding—extremely fresh and prepared with precision and respect for the ingredients. I ordered the turbot, which was cooked perfectly and accompanied by a delightful, well-balanced sauce that enhanced the natural flavor of the fish without overpowering it. My wife chose the sea bass, and it was equally impressive—delicate, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service deserves special recognition. It was extremely professional yet genuinely friendly, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. The twin sisters together with their mother form a true dream team—coordinated, passionate, and clearly dedicated to offering guests an exceptional dining experience. For anyone looking for refined Sardinian cuisine in Como, especially for a romantic evening, La Colombetta is an absolute recommendation.

Very nice restaurant in the old town . Great wines and good food quality . But the smiles of the staff makes the difference
