26/04/2026: Reminiscing about half a century ago: fish & chips saved me from English gastronomic starvation (those who've been there, or worse, to Scotland, know something about it), and today it seemed just as good, even though in Manchester it was served as a burger.
The Irish stew was also noteworthy, although the mutton had been replaced with veal.
The bartender was extremely attentive and helpful: I'd dropped my knife, and the noise was enough to make her rush over with both cutlery.
The place was intimate and warm.

01/05/2026: We had a delicious pizza. The service was impeccable. The owner and staff were very kind. They also offered us a Prosecco as an aperitif and a homemade amaro after the meal.
09/04/2026: We were directed to this pizzeria by the manager of the B&B we booked near Orio al Serio Airport (BG), and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. The place is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and empathetic. I highly recommend it. P.S.: I particularly enjoyed the seafood first course. The pizza was also more than good, though not exceptional.

17/04/2026: Three sisters and their eldest daughter came almost by chance and were delighted with their discovery.
A small restaurant where you feel right at home, a warm welcome, smiles all around, and excellent local dishes!
14/04/2026: Casa Ernesto is a beautiful little restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The open kitchen right by the entrance gives the place a particularly authentic feel, and the chefs are very friendly and welcoming. The dimmed lighting also contributes to a pleasant, comfortable ambiance.
The food was excellent, and overall we had a truly wonderful evening. The only drawback was the very small side dish with the meat—it felt like only about five slices of potato, which was clearly insufficient. We therefore each ordered an extra portion.

29/03/2026: A classic, rustic, and welcoming trattoria that makes you feel at home. The owners, Sara and Marco, are two delightful, down-to-earth, and incredibly friendly people who know how to entertain their guests. You can tell they love their work and put their heart and soul into it.
I went with my girlfriend for her birthday and we had a wonderful meal in a unique atmosphere accompanied by music.

The pizza was truly excellent, light and well-filled, with impeccable service and smiling staff.
We also received a free appetizer because we booked, but this was only available on Tuesdays.
We'll definitely be back with friends.

12/04/2026: We came for Sunday lunch without knowing the place. The place is spacious and has a homey atmosphere, the food is delicious, and the staff is really friendly. It's always nice to go for lunch somewhere that makes you feel good.
We'll definitely be back.
05/04/2026: I went there for lunch today with the Easter menu, for the first time, and I'll definitely be back to try the à la carte menu. The appetizers were very varied, along with two first courses and two second courses, with the option of repeating them, all with authentic flavors and details that make all the difference. The dessert, very delicate and fresh, was greatly enjoyed by everyone (there were five of us).
I checked out the wine list, which was very well-stocked; I tried a pure Merlot (Caterina) by Eligio Magri, which was excellent.
A special mention goes to the service, however: the rooms were packed, but despite this, the staff was very kind, helpful, and quick.
Very good.

01/04/2026: Beautiful, very beautiful, it's an old renovated farmhouse outside the village. Very tidy, with the aroma of beautiful old things. The food is excellent, traditional country dishes, the ones your mother used to make.
08/03/2026: A lovely discovery. A very pretty farmhouse surrounded by greenery. The dishes are well-prepared and made with high-quality, home-grown ingredients. The portions are generous, and the service is quick, but not overwhelming, so you can fully enjoy the entire meal. We'll definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the porch.
