05/04/2026: Easter Lunch 2026: As a Bergamo native, I would say it is the best restaurant in Bergamo with the best location, spectacular view, unquestionable order and cleanliness, tidy and freely accessible outdoor area to enjoy a 360-degree view of Bergamo. Dining room service is always available, although to tell the truth, when we asked for a second helping of the Supreme Risotto with peas and bottarga, they practically brought us 2 spoonfuls of rice as if we had asked for a second helping of a grilled fish. The roast goat was indescribably good, it almost seemed like porchettato, so much so that even in this case we asked for a second helping and a girl (an "angel" I would call her, dressed in a blue flowered shirt, who I didn't understand who she was, perhaps a niece of the owner...) of commendable humanity quickly and without any fuss brought my wife and I 2 plates of roast goat with mashed potatoes, which we enjoyed but unfortunately I couldn't thank her personally. Clearly, you can't expect dishes Overflowing (hence our repeated requests for more), but the quality of the dishes is at the pinnacle of perfection. The waiter served wine whenever he noticed an empty glass, although during the second course I noticed that the same waiter at our table told his colleague to serve us less wine, which left me a bit perplexed, given that we weren't drunk and the two of us had probably drunk roughly a bottle. The price, I'd say, is average, more for the location and the quality of the dishes than for the quantity of the dishes, which is certainly fair, especially since a restaurant like this must also have considerable running costs.

05/04/2026: Easter at Bussola??.. A guarantee!!! We reported a lactose intolerance late, our fault!! The staff immediately joined forces to resolve the mix-up and went out of their way to present lactose-free dishes to the person in question, served alongside those of the other diners, resulting in... A fantastic, balanced lunch, with portions designed to last until dessert... Challenging, yes... But unforgettable!!! Congratulations 👏👍😋😎 we'll definitely be back!!

14/01/2026: I had a wonderful three-day experience over Christmas 2025. We arrived on the 24th and left on December 26th. I've rarely had such a wonderful time at a hotel in my life. Mrs. Pamela was simply extraordinary, super helpful, kind, always thoughtful, and attentive. She knows her job very well. The rest of the staff was also friendly. The hotel was beautiful and well-maintained in every way. From the impeccable cleanliness to the excellent organization and the extraordinary cuisine. Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas lunch were truly delicious. I will definitely return because we and our family had a wonderful time. Recommended for everyone: young people, singles, families, and seniors.

28/03/2026: A classic alternative weekend evening; I recommend calling to make sure there's room. The location is classic, old-fashioned, but the pizzas are modern, deep, and loaded with toppings, with a digestible, non-rubbery crust. They're beautiful and delicious. A wide selection, from the most classic to the most elaborate and unique. Desserts are also delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended. The only drawback is finding parking.

13/04/2026: We've tried it in the past on weekdays, and it's highly recommended. On Sundays, it's best to skip the set menu without a buffet and it's too crowded.

12/04/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant by chance, after visiting Malpaga Castle. First of all, the place is very well-kept and welcoming. There's ample parking outside. The staff is very kind and helpful. I was with my three-year-old daughter, and they had no problem offering alternatives to the set menu (so authentic that I even let my daughter try it). As I mentioned, the restaurant offers a sort of set menu (with two or three options per course) featuring a selection of dishes, both local and otherwise, served in generous portions and excellently prepared. I'd like to emphasize that the quality/price ratio is one of the restaurant's strong points: around €35 ​​for what we ate is extremely competitive, to say the least, especially for someone like me, accustomed to big-city prices. I'll definitely be back.

24/12/2025: Very cozy place, polite staff, aromatic coffee and delicious pastries! Here you will be greeted warmly, the child was given compliments on the coffee, and at the end they even treated us to pastries, we were very touched!

17/04/2026: One lunchtime a week, in a beautiful, panoramic, and beautifully renovated location, with friendly service and, last but not least, delicious food. The best picanha I've ever had, tender and succulent, the fresh and flavorful homemade bread, and, to finish, a salted caramel, almond, and walnut tart with a scoop of ice cream. A sumptuous dessert. 03/05/2026: A beautiful restaurant in the center of Bergamo, with a panoramic terrace overlooking Milan. Delicious, traditional food, and super helpful staff. Definitely worth a try.

01/05/2026: The food was definitely good; personally, the risotto was the best. However, the service was quite slow. We had to wait over an hour for our food. Even so, I recommend coming if you want to try typical Bergamo cuisine.

17/04/2026: A small but very charming pizzeria. Perhaps it's a good thing that this little gem is somewhat hidden and therefore not overrun by tourists. Thanks in no small part to the very warm welcome, I felt very comfortable, and my pizza was phenomenal :)
