02/03/2026: I had the opportunity to have lunch at a mountain restaurant in the Brembana Valley, and I must say it was pure heaven! The dishes were simply delicious, made with fresh ingredients and carefully prepared. The service was impeccable, with welcoming staff ready to accommodate every request. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, perfect for a day in the mountains. Definitely one of the best mountain restaurants I've ever had.

14/05/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Il Caminetto di Branzi with friends, and overall the experience was very positive. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service courteous and attentive, and the dishes are well-presented and tasty. The view was also lovely: from our table, we could see a waterfall in front of us, a truly evocative detail that made the atmosphere even more pleasant.
One small note concerns the bresaola appetizer: while good, I wasn't entirely impressed in terms of freshness, and the flavor wasn't as distinctive as I expected, almost as if it lacked that distinctive note that fully showcases the quality of the meat.
That said, the rest of the meal more than met expectations, and overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, hoping that even this detail will be further refined.

12/05/2026: Family dinner for four
Everything was very good. We shared various appetizers, which were very tasty, followed by meat-based main courses.
Everything was excellent.
The service was excellent; all the staff were attentive and non-invasive.
We were pleasantly surprised by the predominantly young staff; it's nice to see young people working so hard.
The bill was reasonable.
Dog accepted.
We'll be back.

15/06/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo posto che volevamo provare da un po e le 5 stelle che ho messo se le merita tutte -
la polenta taragna è da sballo, per non parlare del morbido di vitello , super tenero e intriso di aromi avvolgenti.
abbiamo testato anche la torta di mele, calda al punto giusto con la crema di vaniglia , che è davvero una bomba di sapore.
un ''bravo'' a Daniele che ci ha serviti con attenzione , cura e molta educazione.
abbiamo la nostra mecca per la polenta.
ritorneremo sicuramente :) !!

Buono. Per me questo locale è così.
Ottima la posizione con ampio parcheggio mai completamente pieno nemmeno d'inverno.
Buona la struttura, ben tenuta e molto in ordine.
Buono il servizio, sbrigativo ma attento e cordiale.
Buono il cibo: mai delusioni in tanti anni e per ogni tipo di appuntamento, dal pranzo frugale alle nozze di amici.
Buone anche il servizio di h
ostelleria: belle le camere, i bagni e la pulizia.
Ci passo quando giro in valle e mi fermo ogni volta che posso. Consiglio a tutti.

01/05/2025: una delle più grandi fregature mai prese in vita mia!!! È un posto per fregare i "milanesi", ma noi essendo Bergamaschi avremmo dovuto capirlo..e invece no...
Menù fisso SENZA INDICAZIONE DEL PREZZO né all'entrata né sul menù che ti viene dato una volta seduto al tavolo...
2 adulti + 1 bambino 125€
in settimana vado tutti i giorni al ristorante e spendo 14€ (primo secondo contorno vino acqua caffè)...
in questo caso c'era antipasto per due, bis di primi che si è rivelato essere un primo a testa tutto sommato e idem per i secondi...
menù bimbo con pasta "dimenticata" e portata dopo 20 minuti dai nostri primi...zero pane zero formaggio (salvo dopo almeno 3 richieste)
una volta letto il cognome dei titolari ed avendoli collegati ai loro parenti "famosi" con agriturismo qualche km prima ho fatto bingo: PREPARIAMOCI ALLA FREGATURA...e così è stato...
Chiedendo poi in centro a San Giovanni mi hanno confermato l'impressione del posto spennasoldi x.milanesi
