29/06/2026: A culinary journey led by a true master of taste. Definitely worth the trip from Bergamo! If you're looking for a run-of-the-mill dinner, look elsewhere. "Alchimia del Goloso," here in Romano di Lombardia, isn't just a restaurant; it's a 360-degree sensory experience. My friends and I always travel a lot because we love good food, and intrigued by the excellent buzz surrounding this place, we decided to try it. Starting from Bergamo, we drove about thirty kilometers, but it was absolutely worth it. The owner isn't just a chef, but a culinary professor, and it shows in every detail. The place is a perfect fusion of a vintage shop, a refined wine bar, and an excellent restaurant. The selection of ingredients is impressive and sourced from all over Italy: from hard-to-find cheeses to olive oil, to gems like authentic Pantelleria capers. The cured meats deserve a special mention: the chef personally travels to Trentino to select a special speck from friendly producers, while the prosciutto comes from other niche producers. The cellar is also a paradise: it boasts an incredible selection of excellent wines from every region of Italy, including the finest labels from the most prestigious Sicilian wineries, from Planeta to Nozze d'Oro. Five of us were there and had a wonderful time. Here, the alchemy is real: quality meets enchanting expertise. Five stars is even too few!

After introducing myself and explaining my offerings in two minutes, I was treated rudely and arrogantly. Unlike him, I introduced myself in a completely different way. I repeat, the place looks very nice and the food is probably equally good, but I can't say the same about Mr. I slap my hands on the counter... The only thing I can say is that a little respect wouldn't hurt for someone like you who works, even though, unfortunately, my job isn't related to yours. 16/05/2026: I'll start by saying that I'll only talk about the restaurant, as I haven't had the pleasure of staying there, as I live in the neighboring town. It was a fantastic experience. Honestly, it's my first time there. I ate really well, though. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the chef's quest for the perfect balance of flavors. The menu I chose is meat-based. The place is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Also excellent for a romantic dinner.

27/04/2026: For now, eliminate this hotel in Romano di Lombardia. We had booked four rooms for the night of April 25th. Last month, the bankruptcy trustee emailed me to ask if we had paid a deposit for the nights. Speechless. I hope it can be used again because it's a beautiful hotel with new, modern rooms. What a shame.

01/07/2026: I had lunch for work and I have to say that we didn't enjoy it at all. The fish (salmon) was hard and overcooked, the "steamed" broccoli didn't arrive. The coffee was drowned... let's forget it... it wasn't... you should have asked for the receipt first to pay... otherwise THEIR POS doesn't provide it automatically.

16/02/2026: I went for lunch on Friday at noon, and I have to say it's a very basic place. We waited about 10 minutes for a table (when we went into the dining room, there were at least 10 seats available, so I didn't understand the wait... Hmm...). We ordered a set menu and a pizza. The pizza arrived fairly quickly, but my first course still hadn't arrived after almost half an hour. The waitress came by and asked if I was waiting for the second course. I told her I was still waiting for the first course. The waitress, who was nice, apologized, saying they'd forgotten my first course! After 5 minutes, it arrived, and the second course soon after. The food was average for a typical midday working-class restaurant. Not terrible, but not exceptional either. I don't think I'd want to go back.

22/07/2026: On Google it says closing time is midnight, while on the glass entrance it says it closes at 2 a.m., bah. 11 p.m. Wednesday: closed. Bahh
