28/02/2026: I've been a MD (Ghisalba) customer for a long time, and I've never had anything like this happen to me (in any supermarket): I had my shopping list on my phone (as always), and I found myself being invasively observed by the security guard. After I'd been shopping for a while, the security guard suspiciously stopped me and asked me to show him the time on my phone, which I obviously did, along with the screenshot of my shopping list, since I had nothing to hide. I felt extremely uncomfortable and intimidated, almost offended that someone would suspect me, a young woman who was simply shopping for her family, and I hadn't given any reason to believe I was committing any crime. It was such an unpleasant event, I was very upset. The only positive note was the kind and nice clerk, but the security guard's eyes were still staring at me even as I was leaving after paying. If this is what we need to do our shopping with peace of mind, no thanks.
