24/07/2024: We stayed in this spectacular hotel during our second stage of the three lakes journey. What can I say, breathtaking views, clean, aesthetically beautiful and comfortable rooms. A beautiful swimming pool. Fabulous breakfast, young and professional staff!!

21/07/2024: It gives the impression that the hotel has undergone a shake-up since our last visit 5 years ago. A young team that felt inexperienced or clumsy in all areas took over this modest hotel. You still have to figure out where you actually want to go. On the one hand, there are cracks and gaps in the floor, no consistent covering of ledges and channels, shabby doors, dirty tablecloths, dirty seat cushions in the garden area burned by cigarettes. Then negative highlights like that on some days there were no towels to change - then you get bathrobes to dry off without comment. Furthermore, there is no refrigerator in the room. The breakfast buffet is not very loving, with few regional products and an almost identical selection every day, although things like bread also run out. On the other hand, you want to be at the “TOP”. Spa for single use only for 20 euros per person for 2 hours, Michelin star for the KITCHEN. 80 euros for an event evening per person - dinner with musical accompaniment. The concept is not coherent and we have to watch where it goes. The honest simplicity of 5 years ago, adorned with the friendliness and the typical Italian charm and the inspiring humanity cannot be felt at the moment. But this was what excited us and therefore prevents us from continuing to recommend this hotel without reservation. We will closely monitor future reviews and base any future bookings on this. As I said, we weren't treated unkindly, but without any temperament and the noticeable joy we had at the time when working on and for the guests and customers. We wish the whole team a quick turnaround and fun and joy in the work that the guests can also see and feel. Unfortunately, climate engineering or geoengineering is also very noticeable. We didn't have a single day with clear visibility and really blue skies. The weather was very poor and, as we learned from locals in restaurants, very untypical. Little good rain, lots of thunderstorms and heavy rain. The locals should pay more attention to this in order to preserve the really beautiful area in the long term.

08/08/2024: I celebrated my birthday at Trattoria Visconti where, as always, it is pleasant to return to a friendly atmosphere and a beautiful location, the professionalism of the staff and the courtesy of the owners, the cellar with a wide choice and good food, from risotto to trout, the caponata with meatballs, the tastings of cheeses (the ancient stracchino is delicious) and the desserts, a more than successful anniversary (it's a shame that it's been too many years).

19/08/2024: Beautiful atmosphere, you can feel the warmth of the people, beautiful Neapolitan music. The pizza is excellent, the coffee is excellent and of course the desserts 😍

07/08/2024: Very nice place. Friendly staff and exceptional food. The only flaw is that they don't accept dogs. I would like to point out that they let me in anyway and served me but the owner clearly said that, although she likes them very much, she prefers not to have them in the room. This isn't a criticism of mine, the lady certainly has her good reasons, I'm only writing this to warn you that if you want to go there... It's best to keep dogs at home. I ate very well anyway, so I highly recommend it.

28/07/2024: Let me start by saying that I have already been there twice. This time I chose fish and was not disappointed. 28/08/2024: Here you can breathe mountain air, a beautiful environment, attentive service and one of the best polenta taragne eaten this summer. Delicious dishes, the cheeses are worth trying (some really special), prices are normal. I also drank an excellent craft pils beer.

26/08/2024: Had lunch last Saturday with friends. Well-kept place, mountain style, dynamic staff, attentive to customer requests, fast service considering the crowded place. Excellent food, from culatello, to homemade pasta, to delicious gnocchi. Excellent meat, cut, cooking and presentation. Spectacular desserts. Price normal. More than positive opinion, definitely recommended. Well done!

16/08/2024: It feels like a little treasure restaurant with a lot of customers, almost all of them locals. You can see that everyone is enjoying the food seriously. Casoncelli Alla Bergamasca is very delicious, with good taste and texture. The seasoning makes people feel comfortable and smooth. It is not burdensome and not greasy after eating, and the aroma of food remains in the mouth. Risotto with Moscato and Taleggio, the seasoning of red wine risotto is not my taste. It is sour and has no salty taste. I can only feel the sourness but no real taste. I like the texture. The clerk is very busy, quick, friendly and enthusiastic. He will introduce the meal in detail and talk about food and wine. The store is small, the atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and the seats are comfortably spaced so you can enjoy the food. It is recommended to come to Bergamo if you want to eat local food!

30/07/2024: When the saying "good wine comes in small packages", it is perfectly suited to this reality. For the moment I have only been able to try the carpaccio and the fassona tartare with egg. I would say both excellent...👍 The red wine by the glass offered by the owner is also very good. Small, informal but welcoming environment. 22/07/2024: Per chi adora la cucina indiana come me è il posto perfetto. Cibo molto buono. Locale molto carino e riservato. Personale molto gentile e per chi non è pratico da suggerimenti su quale piatto prendere. Io appena posso ci vado, ogni volta è un successo. Prezzi molto contenuti per la quantità e qualità di quello che si mangia. Suggeritissimo anche per chi si vuole avvicinare alla cucina indiana per la prima volta .

28/07/2024: It's really easy to see that Massimiliano puts all his passion into the food he serves. Every ingredient is bio and he makes sure all the process to get it to the table is the healthiest and the best he can serve to his customers. Tania serves and treats us with all the love she can give to us. The experience we had in Bistrot Macro Vegan was beautiful, in all the ways. I really recommend it to anyone, it doesn't matter if you are vegan or not. I will make sure I visit them again next time I go to Bergamo.

03/07/2024: When we visited Bergamo with my family, we looked for a restaurant with vegan options since I'm vegan. It was a fantastic experience for all of us, and we'll definitely go back there when we're in the area. The food was amazing, with great attention to ingredient combinations. The chef even came to chat with us about the dishes and their preparation. He and his wife were super friendly hosts, making the visit even better.

23/06/2024: Dopo una bella passeggiata a Sarnico, abbiamo pranzato in questa bellissimo ristorante situato in collina trovato su TripAdvisor. Ovviamente scelto per le buone recensioni date e che non hanno deluso le mie aspettative. Location meravigliosa, personale molto cordiale e cibo strepitoso. Dall' antipasto fino al dolce tutto molto buono. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti. Da ritornare per provare altri piatti. Super consigliato.
