22/08/2024: Durante una passeggiata nella stupenda Bergamo Alta, verso le 17, io e la mia fidanzata notiamo questa caratteristica gelateria e decidiamo di entrare e provare il loro gelato. Scegliamo un cono piccolo con due gusti: pistacchio al sale e nocciola. Avevamo assaggiato altri gelati al pistacchio durante la nostra vacanza, ma questo ha superato di gran lunga la concorrenza! Un sapore intensissimo ed una cremosità unica, segni di alta qualità e scelta accurata degli ingredienti. Anche la nocciola è buonissima e la combinazione con il pistacchio funziona benissimo. Consiglio vivamente sia questa che la gelateria omonima di Bergamo Bassa!

04/08/2024: Such a great place for dinner and very kind hosts! The food was super delicious and we enjoyed our evening there to the fullest! The area seemed to be a bit remote, but it was definitely worth it! And you find easily parking slots. We would always come back & truly recommend dinner there. Not touristic at all, very authentic and high quality food (!). Also, with the open kitchen, you can watch the chef.

31/08/2024: We walked past Osteria Valenti di Marco Maffei by chance at lunchtime and decided to book a table for dinner. Absolutely no regrets. The food was excellent (the tiramisu the best we had in a week in Bergamo) and the service was unobtrusive but friendly and attentive.

28/07/2024: As the photos attest, the view from this place is magical: over Bergamo, the upper town and the valley. However, it is not easy to get there by car; the roads have narrow bottlenecks, you have to drive with dexterity and use a good deodorant stick, parking spaces are rare to ultra-rare. The car park which has 10 spaces a few meters from the hotel is most often full, the hotel has its own mini car park but the entrance is miraculous or for those who have zero premium premium protection and don't care about scratching the body. Furthermore, two car parks are perhaps more accessible: opposite the Birreria del Belvedere and at the “scaletta castello” stop on the Felice Cavagnis road. Furthermore, be careful to only use this “Cavagnis” road to go down, the others have still-style bottlenecks! The staff are really very pleasant and helpful. The room we had in (number 4) on the ground floor, on the other hand, was dark, humid (>70%) and quite cold. We were a family of 4 in ~30 m2… Pleasant breakfast. Lovely aperitifs on the terrace. I didn't try the restaurant, which was closed during my stay.

11/07/2024: It’s at the very top of Bergamo. The service, room and food were all superb. Very steep decline and incline walk to the top of Bergamo but there is a cable car for those who choose not to walk. Beautiful town. Highly recommend.

Excellent choice of wines. Pleasant environment perhaps not suitable for romantic dinners and the lake view is guaranteed only in some points. Very small note: there is a lot of fishy smell inside and it may bother some

24/08/2024: Preparation and attention for celiac disease has been demonstrated. I was able to eat a good gluten-free pizza and also an excellent lake starter.

08/08/2024: Delicious dishes full of different tastes combined perfectly. When a restaurant has a short menu you know that the quality is high. And that is exactly the story of this Trattoria. The waiters super polite, always ready to serve and help, the owner always there to welcome the guests and guarantee the quality; very easy going and communicative. The restaurant very clean and the tables distant enough from each other that gives the sensation of privacy, factor that we do not find often since the modern goal is more tables possible per square metre. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the view outside because of bad weather, but we will return for that, and not only, as we have to taste all the dishes. Their unique version of Spaghetti Aglio Olio amazing. Totally recommend it !

07/07/2024: As it was a hot day we preferred to eat in the restaurant garden. Friendly and helpful staff, we started with the appetizer and moved on to the dessert and found ourselves really enjoying ourselves.

17/06/2024: Based on the reviews it has, I thought it was a top-quality restaurant. Unfortunately the reception was not the best. Fish dinner where the fish in almost every dish was smothered in strong flavours. First time and last as far as I'm concerned. I'm sorry because, being originally from the area and returning after a long time, I thought I'd find a place to stop....unfortunately after wandering around for a lifetime I realized that the welcome for non-local people is of a low standard.
