18/11/2025: A restaurant with an exceptional view, overlooking the entire Bergamo valley and beyond! The unique menu is always different! The only thing that's always available is the typical polent pizza, a series of pizzas with a polenta base! The restaurateur and maître d' is a delightful and knowledgeable person! Excellent wine selection and average prices.

01/11/2025: What can I say: everything was truly perfect. The staff was warm and well-versed in both the preparation of the dishes and the wines. Kudos to the chef: I couldn't find a flaw in any dish. A truly spectacular tasting experience. We'll be back to try the other dishes. Kudos to the maître d', who guides you perfectly through the various options available. The best tiramisu I've ever had outside of home.

22/10/2025: Centrally located, semi-rustic trattoria-style, with access almost from the open kitchen; small but well-organized. Medium-sized restaurant with a large clientele and many regulars. Very friendly, family-friendly service, and a clean bathroom. In addition to the "fixed menu," there are several à la carte dishes, all good and with adequate portions. Worth noting, especially for other restaurateurs, is the generous supply of grated Parmesan cheese on the table: no more cold single-serving sachets (who decides the portion?) and let everyone add as much as they want; it won't ruin anyone's day anyway... Reasonable price. Reservations are recommended. Recommended

22/10/2025: What can I say? It's now a must-see when we visit Bergamo. A traditional restaurant, with a friendly, always smiling owner and waiters. The antipasto with cheeses and cured meats was excellent, as were the first courses (superlative casoncelli), and the steaks were always cooked to order—they were delicious. I highly recommend it.

01/11/2025: The dishes are truly exquisite as well as beautiful to look at, I recommend the "identity" tasting menu, which offers a broad overview of the restaurant's offerings, at an affordable price.

21/09/2025: We celebrated my parents' wedding anniversary, and I have to commend all the restaurant staff for their kindness, their willingness to take care of every detail, and their attention to detail. Every dish was exquisite, especially the paccheri with clams. Thanks to Papillon Restaurant.

09/10/2025: A hidden gem in the heart of Bergamo. The place is located in a courtyard on one of the main streets of the city center. As soon as you enter, you'll find a counter full of delicious treats that I assure you will be eager to try. Depending on the season, you can find different types of cakes, both puff pastry and leavened. I chose a carrot and blueberry cake and a cinnamon roll. The cake was delicious, accompanied by a sauce and fresh blueberries. The cinnamon roll was light and had a nice cinnamon flavor. I would have loved to try it with its icing, which I think would have made it even better and more special. The place is beautifully decorated, and you feel pampered here, like you're in a tranquil haven, yet just outside the frenetic city—the perfect place for a break. I'd love to return to try other cake flavors, but especially for their lunch options.

02/11/2025: It's not Neapolitan pizza, but as a true Salerno native and pizza lover, I can assure you it's very good! It's a different kind of pizza, different from the classic crust pizza, very thin and light, with an easy-to-digest dough, but it's definitely worth it! 07/11/2025: I enjoyed a delightful family lunch on a rainy Sunday, warmed by the kindness and professionalism of this restaurant. Excellent food, from appetizers to desserts...the casoncelli and foiade were highly recommended! We'll definitely return when the weather is nice to admire the beautiful view.

22/09/2025: A beautiful refuge right in front of Lake Barbellino, reached by a two-and-a-half-hour hike from Valbondione. We had polenta with porcini mushrooms and roast beef for lunch, truly delicious: succulent meat, creamy polenta, and excellent local cheeses with an authentic flavor. The price was very reasonable (€25 per person) considering the quality and abundance. The location is spectacular and worth the effort of the climb. I will definitely return to try the overnight stay. Highly recommended for those who love the mountains, good food, and authentic views.

26/10/2025: I was there yesterday for lunch, it's worth it even if you don't live in the area. The prices are ok and fair. The service is both in the dining room and in the kitchen. The place is very clean. I recommend it.
