27/09/2025: Beautiful places, family hospitality, and excellent professionalism. Highly recommended.

27/09/2025: The hotel is very nice, it looks recently renovated, and is certainly well-maintained. We stayed in the quaint little house. Dinner and breakfast were good, both in quality and price. The village is located on a hill, with a road that's narrow in places, but nothing too difficult. The "difficulty" is worth the trip.

12/10/2025: We'd been there a few years ago, and the experience confirmed the quality of the food we'd tried. The fried food was delicious and light, and the wild boar bites were tasty and plentiful, along with delicious polenta. The prices were very fair, and the service was friendly and professional.

24/09/2025: The staff is friendly and helpful, all in a family atmosphere...you feel right at home. Everyone is always ready to accommodate every request. Highly recommended for both coloring and quick lunches.

10/11/2025: We visited this trattoria on a Sunday in early November for lunch, having made a last-minute phone reservation. Upon arrival, the restaurant wasn't crowded, so a reservation wasn't necessary. The place was immediately very noisy, making it difficult to hear each other at the table. For four of us, we spent about €115 for two main courses, two first courses, two appetizers, a bottle of still water, a quart of house red wine, two desserts, and three coffees. The appetizer (a selection of cured meats) was good, but one of the first courses (tagliatelle with hare ragù) was a bit too salty, as was one of the main courses (braised beef). The other main course was a tagliata, which we had requested well-done, but it arrived rare and was returned a bit red. The staff, however, was friendly. Oh, and the desserts were very good!

11/11/2025: We were there last Sunday and were thrilled: the quality of the food was high, the price proportional to the quality, the waiter was nice, kind and friendly; the polenta with porcini mushrooms was very good; the experience is definitely worth repeating.

23/12/2025: Hey you reviewer! You don't like guanciale... don't come back or the super risotto will end up in my stomach... and the top wine that rubs the nose of all Franciacorta (true Veronelli? You'll never say that for obvious reasons), but beyond personal tastes here there is a family that will treat you like one of the family.

08/12/2025: It's a quiet hour, so I wait a moment and then order a piadina. They offer me a roll, which I accept—great idea. I wait, and a piadina arrives. I mention this, and they offer to add extra toppings. Annoyed, I say no thanks and leave because I was in a hurry, and I'm not happy with the principle of paying almost 9 euros for a piadina (handmade in Romagna costs less!) to get something else! I go back and ask for a refund, but note that they ask for the receipt (as if they didn't know it was me 25 seconds earlier). A rush to the checkout begins, and time passes until they tell me, "Hold on, we're asking the manager." There, I'm completely lost. Besides having paid almost 9 euros, having just gotten nervous instead of a pleasant break, and having wasted too much time through no fault of my own, somewhere in the world there's a "manager" who has to make me wait and waste more time refunding a product I didn't order. Pay your employees fairly and invest in them, or this is the result of always hiring people at a low wage! The bottom line: I wasted time, got nervous, and wasted almost 9 euros for NOTHING. Embarrassing.

But if you're looking for impeccable freshness, consistent quality, and prompt service, especially during busy periods, the experience can be a mixed bag.

22/10/2025: My first, but certainly not my last, visit to this delightful agriturismo. The outdoor setting is truly beautiful, with many animals to see and panoramic views of the valley and surrounding villages. The interior ambiance is that of a true rustic agriturismo. The dishes are excellent, from appetizers to braised meat, with a special mention for the jugged hare. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The menu is strictly à la carte, with a wide selection. This alone makes La Calpa a agriturismo worth the trip. Try it and believe it.

18/10/2025: Beautiful farmhouse, warm and welcoming. We ate wonderful pizzoccheri with cavolo nero, potatoes, and hazelnuts, mixed grill, delicious venison bites with blueberries, and venison stew. Highly recommended! The house wine was excellent, too!

02/11/2025: A wonderful experience immersed in this enchanting mountain setting. The gloomy weather provided the backdrop to an autumn day. Recommended by the owner, we booked at the Cà di Bore restaurant. What a delight. The welcoming atmosphere perfectly complemented our stay. The friendly staff provided excellent recommendations. The dishes were delicious, in just the right quantities and at the right price. To finish, we had the chestnut and fig gelato. One of the best things I've ever tasted. The owner then explained to me the incredible work that goes into making this gelato, and it truly deserves such recognition. My family and I extend our warmest congratulations and promise to visit you soon in these wonderful areas. Congratulations again, and keep up the good work.

26/11/2025: The best all-you-can-eat sushi. It maintains the same high quality despite being open for many years, unlike many ayce restaurants that start out good and then deteriorate. Fresh fish. I recommend the salmon tartare and uramaki green dragon roll. The portions are adequate. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between privacy and sociability. Gong, the owner, is a nice guy and is happy to share a few words with anyone who wants to. A restaurant where you're treated like a person, not an ayce restaurant where you're just a number. Excellent service. There's also a promotion right now that gives each guest a scratch-off ticket. You can win sushi boxes, gadgets, or discount coupons to use on future dinners :) I recommend it. Don't give up, guys, always maintain this quality, and customers will always thank you :)
