Incredible place to stay, the place is lovely, the room perfect and the staff friendly.

We chose Podere Castel Merlo to celebrate Emma's First Communion. We were captivated by the driveway entrance and the location, nestled in the surrounding vineyards. It's ideal for those who love a private setting, exquisite cuisine, and the opportunity to taste their own wines. The staff's professionalism and the manager's helpfulness are noteworthy. Finally, it's a pet-friendly location; they welcomed our Maltese dog with no problem.

I went to dinner tonight with four people. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service exceptional, and I commend the staff. The food was excellent. Great guys, the atmosphere was very chic, and you made me feel at home. Excellent value for money. I'll be back soon. taotao

What a hidden gem! The beauty and history got the local landscape perfectly. A true Italian experience. We had a private winery tour followed by a scrumptious and very filling lunch. The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Beautiful location near Lake Iseo. Simple and intimate. We appreciated the limited seating to create an intimate atmosphere. The service was a bit disorganized and seemingly confused. Good food, with both simple and sophisticated dishes, although some prices were slightly high for the quality of the food served. Excellent wines from their own production. We'll gladly return.

Beautiful location surrounded by the estate's vineyards, with an intimate atmosphere thanks to several private rooms. The menu is a bit limited, but the dishes are tasty and well-prepared. The wines, produced on site, are excellent. The staff is kind and friendly.

Beautiful setting. A traditional masseria with a hotel near Bergamo and within sight of Lake Iseo. Unfortunately, the staff seemed incompetent and at times overwhelmed. When we asked for a wine recommendation for dinner, we were met with the curt suggestion of "our red or white." Despite its proximity to the famous Franciacorta wine and sparkling wine region, no Franciacorta sparkling wine (e.g., Ca del Bosco) was offered. The Castel Merlo winery, with its hotel and restaurant, had been recommended to us on a German television program. Therefore, and also because of the high prices, our expectations were quite high. We were unfortunately disappointed!
