30/09/2025: Been to a lot of bars/restaurants in Bergamo but never felt as welcomed as The Tucan! Gregorio was an absolute gentleman. Made any cocktail we asked for on the menu or not. 10/10 would definitely come back just for the bar itself!

13/10/2025: This place was spectacular. Was looking for vegan food in the area and found this, thought I'd try it as the reviews were so good. It didn't disappoint. Very busy but tge friendly guy on the front desk said he could fit me in. The service was quick and the food was out of this world. Finding vegan food that is good can be difficult but I think this is the best I have tried so far. I love eating and not causing any harm or suffering. Grazie ristorante mexicali. Highly recommend.

11/10/2025: The food is really good (even though they've reduced the portions compared to a few years ago). The tables could be cleaned a little better, but the service is always attentive. It's not a cheap restaurant... but recommended.

21/09/2025: A couple's weekend for a hike in the Bergamo mountains. A quiet and welcoming place, but the room was noticeably damp. The staff was helpful, but they paid little attention to small details: we ate dinner the night of our arrival at a table assigned to us by our room number. The next morning, we found the same sauce stain on the breakfast tablecloth. This was an important detail for me, and it contributed to my lower rating.

22/09/2025: Everything was beautiful and delicious! Their kindness is something you don't find in restaurants anymore! The food was top-notch! Besides being a delicious restaurant, it's a wonderful experience! If you go, make sure to ask them how "La Cucina delle Mamma" came to be. It's a wonderful story! Congratulations again ♥️

22/08/2025: A wonderful experience! We came here for my mom's birthday, and the owner immediately suggested we make a tart with blackberry jam. Everything was homemade, including the jam! Excellent food, everything was prepared with passion, and the owners were super kind and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend it.

17/10/2025: Abundant food for €13 or less for the lunch menu, and the downside is that in Bergamo you sometimes have to wait a bit, perhaps due to organizational issues between the person clearing the table and the person bringing the dishes from the kitchen.

25/09/2025: Beautiful place, tons of gluten-free options, and everything was really good. I was with my girlfriend, who is celiac. We ordered everything gluten-free, and I admit I didn't notice any difference between the regular and gluten-free food. Which is a good thing, since some places have subpar gluten-free food, but here, a celiac can eat a lot, and it's delicious, and it's affordable. Their pizza slices, both regular and gluten-free, are their strong point, for me. I've been a customer for years and I'm always satisfied.

05/10/2025: The basic aperitif (the one with a drink costs €8 + an extra €2) was very modest. Of course, if you order the "small plates," it becomes a great aperitif, but at the price of a dinner. Overall, I wasn't satisfied. Very friendly staff.

30/09/2025: The bar's location is absolutely superb, right in Piazza Vecchia in Bergamo Alta. The spritzes arrived promptly, but we had to wait about 25-30 minutes for the platter due to a mix-up related to the shift change (they apologized, however). The platter wasn't particularly large, but fortunately the prices weren't outrageous despite the location.
