The owner is very good at advising the customer and introducing you to ancient flavors but revisited in a modern way. Welcoming and intimate environment. Reservations for the number of tables are welcome. Highly recommended.

20/05/2025: Excellent cuisine, offers sophisticated and at the same time simple dishes, tasty and always different, the pizza is exquisite, light and very digestible. The staff is always welcoming and cheerful. You can't miss stopping at Bar Mauro, from breakfast to dinner, highly recommended.

28/05/2025: A nice place for specialty coffee. They have many options and their coffee is delicious. The prices are not a bit high and there are not many seating areas.

23/05/2025: Horrible service, arrogant, pretentious, ignorant and judgemental. Refused to provide milk with an americano/filter. The server should educate himself about the effect of milk on specialty coffee (suggest watching Jim Hoffman’s youtube videos on the topic) before acting like a pompous know-it-all.

25/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati senza prenotazione io e mio marito per cena. Il locale ha una insegna caratteristica e l’ingresso è molto particolare e attraente. Ricorda le antiche botteghe di una volta trattandosi di un locale storico della città. Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, tutto squisito: nuvola d’uovo con gorgomzola e asparagi, casoncelli fatti in casa e una composta di verdure che oltre ad essere un capolavoro dal punto di vista della presentazione, era una vera delizia (difficile da credersi parlando di verdure!). Anche i prezzi sono decisamente onesti. Torneremo.
