We visited this pizzeria just outside the center of Bergamo, and I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery. The location is convenient, not exactly central, but still easy to get to. The place, both inside and out, is well-kept and pleasant.
What struck me most was their attention to celiac disease; they were extremely knowledgeable and attentive, which is not a given. They offer several options, not only gluten-free but also alternative doughs (for those with yeast intolerances, vegans, etc.), so they're truly inclusive. They even changed my cutlery and brought gluten-free bread separately—a level of attention rarely found.
Both pizzas (both the regular and gluten-free) were truly excellent. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.
Fast service, short wait times, and fair prices.

Last night, my friends and I dined at Pizzeria Byron and we all left thrilled. As a celiac, I can say I've rarely felt so relaxed and pampered in a restaurant.
The menu is vast: an incredible selection of pizzas, all customizable, and what struck me most is that practically every dish on the "regular" menu is also available in a gluten-free version—even the casoncelli!
The waiter who looked after us was impeccable: attentive, just the right amount of friendly, and very knowledgeable. As soon as I told them I had celiac disease, they changed my cutlery, brought the bread packaged separately, and my pizza arrived on a dedicated plate.
There were six of us, with very different requests, and yet everything arrived at the same time. The wait wasn't long, and in any case, the quality of the dishes more than made up for it. The gluten-free pizza dough was different from anything I'd tried before, but it was truly delicious—and I even devoured the crostone.
Last but not least... the desserts. Seeing those masterpieces being passed around the tables around us convinced us to try them, and yes: they're also available in gluten-free versions.
Next time I'm in Bergamo, I already know I'll be back!

Pizza with really good vegan mozzarella (from Fermaggio!) Finally, someone avoids rice mozzarella! They also have amazing vegan desserts, especially the casoncelli!
