Family run business with Nonno at the open fire preparing steaks for 40 people. Absolutely delicious and a beautiful to experience. Food made with love <3 Can only recommend.

Beautiful location, excellent service, delicious food at a very fair price.

Discovered by chance, this restaurant pleasantly surprised us, in addition to the exquisite courtesy of the owners, the goodness of the food... we had a platter of local cured meats and cheeses that were truly delicious, for the main course the mixed grill cooked to perfection by the father of the two owners, with an open brazier, you can see all the passion he puts into cooking the meat. Side of roast potatoes and sautéed wild chicory, I could have eaten a wagonload of it, it was so good 😍. For dessert I had the homemade crème brulee, a divine delicacy 🤤, my husband had the coffee crumble (also homemade) which was equally good! Delicious house wine, truly pleasant atmosphere, exposed beams and simplicity and of course the brazier dominates the view. 100% recommended!

It was our first food in Lazio, we are two pilgrims and after a morning where all energy was spent it felt great reaching to La Dogana and witnessing their delicious food. If you are in the region or even if you are not and planning to walk/drive/cycle that way, make sure to have a stop and taste the food!

The years pass, but good habits don't. It's worth it.

Very good first courses, excellent grilled meats, very good cuts and steaks

We visited this restaurant with friends. It's a traditional establishment that offers, among other things, well-executed first courses, such as the excellent nettle risotto, and a generous and flavorful mixed grill. The meat is cooked in a beautiful fireplace. We found the quality of the ingredients to be very good. The restaurant seems to be frequented primarily by locals, with a few patrons who, like us, take a short detour before continuing their journey.
