29/06/2026: Judging a restaurant after just one visit, including two main courses and side dishes, isn't very convincing, but our experience was still quite disappointing. Two grilled fish dishes, one seafood and one lake fish, were very poor in both composition and preparation. The side dishes were average and acceptable. Again, it could just be a case of bad luck, but that's the way it is. Courteous service. No receipt.

26/06/2026: The ambiance and service are really very good. The food tastes good too, but to my liking it was a bit too oily and the fish didn't have a strong enough fishy flavor. The anchovies, however, were very tasty.

04/07/2026: Found it by chance, attracted by some tables in the shade of the willow trees. A warm welcome right away. Tables just steps from the water with a splendid view of the lake. Seafood appetizer, fried calamari and baked potatoes (excellent). Local sour cherry mousse was top-notch. Professional and friendly staff. We loved it.

16/06/2026: We loved this place and went several times. They have a buffet lunch and amazing pizza! The lunch choices were all really tasty and wholesome. They focus on pizza at night because they are a local favorite and they get busy. Super reasonable. The location is incredible in this medieval village.

10/06/2026: Pizzeria da Gigi stands out as one of the greatest highlights from our trip. There are good - even other great restaurants in Soriano, but Gigi’s is special. As an American looking for local food made with care - this is the peak. The people were so kind, and even shared which dishes were specific to Soriano. If you’re not a local, but want to feel like one stop in. We’ll be going again before we leave.

11/07/2026: This restaurant outside the historic center serves traditional, home-cooked dishes in a casual atmosphere. The menu isn't extensive, and there were a few things missing, but everything was tasty and the service was friendly. We ordered two starters, two main courses, and two side dishes, and spent about €65.

03/05/2026: We were in this wonderful village last night, and a very kind local man, Renato, told us a little about this magical place. We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. The cuisine was truly traditional and delicious, the staff were friendly, and the setting was unique, with the castle illuminated. We'll definitely be back. This morning we visited the castle, and today we're going to the Bosco, and we're so sorry to have to go back because it's truly a unique place.

07/06/2026: Simply fantastic! Views of the Torre del Lavello, as well as other medieval structures and parts of the valley in the background. Book and dine directly on the terrace, enjoying the freshness of both the air and the menu. The dishes are all so original they deserve to be listed in the dictionary. First or second courses don't matter, because both are so complete and generously matched that they provide a complete and light diet, without sacrificing rich and complete flavors. What can I say? We're faced with a quality I've never experienced before, indescribable, and capable of surpassing a Michelin-starred restaurant. The service is as always in these places: young and lively, effective and efficient, to the point of complementing the charm of the entire setting with its beauty. Thank you!

01/06/2026: Unique location in front of the tower! A huge tree provides shade on the panoramic terrace. Excellent food and generous portions. Highly recommended.
