We have known Poggio della Guardia for several years, from the "old guise" and we have always been satisfied with the pizza, the cuisine and the grill. We decided to celebrate our daughter's Confirmation here last week, in this renovated, expanded and wonderful location and what can I say? We found Daniela available to propose and assist us in choosing a menu suited to our needs, even for guests with intolerances, and it was a succession of professionalism and friendliness: preparation of the room, welcome, food with quality raw materials, ability and attention of the waiters during service. We were fully satisfied and even more gratified by our relatives and friends who definitely appreciated both the place and the excellent dishes. Excellent service-quality/price ratio

Welcoming, friendly, top quality and price

For fairness in the judgment it is necessary to admit that it was the Christmas lunch of an association with around 60 people, at an agreed price and course. The food was excellent although not plentiful but the service staff came by several times to distribute new courses upon request. The service was a little slow (starting around 1.45pm) and the dessert was "expected" to arrive at 4.30pm but the staff was very kind and friendly. Excellent and spacious environment, large parking lot.

We found ourselves in the area along the path of the three villages and discovered this beautiful location surrounded by greenery, excellent surroundings and delightful staff; a special greeting to Daniela and Ornella and to all the staff for their super hospitality and friendliness❤️

Poggio della Guardia - New Year's Eve dinner. The place is very well looked after down to the smallest details. It wasn't my first experience but never for an event like this. I can only confirm my more than positive expectations. We ate really well, I would say divinely. A special menu. In particular I want to underline the appetizer which was plentiful and tasty to say the least...dozens of courses, all one better than the other, cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, parcels with cabbage and delicious fish-based courses. As first courses we were served calamarata and some mouth-watering lasagnette...truly delicious...Already at this point in the dinner I would have given up due to the abundance of dishes. After tasting the very good and unique Braised Chestnut and Mushrooms, I dived into the array of sweets... one better and more beautiful to taste and look at than the other. All in all...a 5 star dinner. I want to underline the attention they have for people with food intolerances. For a friend of mine (celiac) a dedicated menu taking care and maximum attention in its courses without sacrificing taste and refinement. Congratulations to both Mrs. Daniela and the kitchen staff. Poggio della Guardia. Locale molto ben curato nei minimi particolari. Non è stata la mia prima esperienza ma mai per un evento del genere. Non posso che confermare le mie aspettative più che positive. Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene direi divinamente. Un menù speciale. In particolar modo voglio sottolineare l'antipasto a dir poco abbondante e gustoso....decine di portate tutte una più buona dell'altra, affettati, formaggi, verdure, fagottini con verza e deliziose portate a base di pesce. Come primi ci sono state servite la calamarata e delle lasagnette da leccarsi i baffi..veramente deliziose...Già a questo punto della cena mi sarei arreso dall'abbondanza delle portate. Dopo aver assaggiato il Brasato alle Castagne e Funghi molto buono e particolare, mi sono tuffato nella carrellata di dolcetti..uno più buono e bello da gustare e da vedere dell'altro. In definita...una cena da 5 stelle. Voglio sottolineare l'attenzione che hanno per le persone con intolleranze alimentari. Per un mio amico (celiaco) un menu dedicato avendo cura e massima attenzione nelle sue portate senza rinunciare al gusto e alla ricercatezza. Pranzo ottimo e servizio molto veloce ed efficiente con molta attenzione verso i clienti. Da provare senza indugio i salumi , con un prosciutto crudo al tartufo che ricorderò ancora per un po’ . Come primi consiglio assolutamente gli scialatielli al ragù bianco di coniglio e i tortelli ripieni di burrata ai pomodorini rossi e gialli. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, lo consiglio vivamente!
