Great place, very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food with that extra something of a designer restaurant, but with more than fair prices and generous portions. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service The owners were very helpful in describing the dishes and were friendly. Everything was prepared by them, including the desserts and the indispensable ice cream.

We arrived late, and thankfully they seated us. The food... almost everything was frozen (too bad we realized this after we'd already placed our order). Plenty of seating. Located on a nondescript street.

A very nice and clean restaurant in Viterbo...very kind and friendly staff, impeccable service. The food is good quality and well-cooked, with generous portions. The value for money is a 9.

The meat is very good, as are the appetizers. The menu isn't very extensive, which is a good sign, as it even offers kangaroo meat! The service is quick.

04/05/2026: We were recommended by the owner of B&B Viterbo Antica, Patrizia and Gianluca, and we had a wonderful meal—unique and truly excellent dishes. Chiara, the owner's daughter, was very kind and friendly. An excellent restaurant!!! Thank you, absolutely recommended.
27/04/2026: Overall, an excellent lunch, definitely five-star. Between appetizers (mixed platters and bruschetta with bacon and cheese), first courses (various pappardelle, strozzapreti, fusilli, all homemade), and desserts (pies and tozzetti), you won't leave the table empty-handed. I haven't tried the main courses, but I'll be back for those. The pasta dishes were excellent, and the appetizer platters were even better (the bruschetta was delicious, and the jams included with the platter were amazing on bread). The desserts were so-so: I was told the tozzetti were good and flavorful, but the sour cherry tart was a bit dry, hard, and perhaps not even had much jam. The bathroom was tiny, but the restaurant was warm and welcoming. Parking nearby was free. We paid €40 per person, including a bottle of wine and a few glasses. Overall

Trattoria Da Patente

07/04/2026: A historic trattoria, like those of yesteryear. Every now and then, over the years, we've returned, perhaps during a trip to the Viterbo area, and each time it's a confirmation: fantastic food, friendly staff, always kind and helpful. The interior is a bit dated, but warmed by the beautiful fireplace where the meats are grilled. In the summer, the outdoor space in front of the entrance is truly pleasant, even though it faces the Cassia.
07/04/2026: Easter Lunch We visited this trattoria for Easter lunch with the à la carte menu. We ordered a first course (wild boar ravioli), two second courses (fried lamb and roast suckling pig), a side dish, a dessert, two coffees, water, and house wine. The service was prompt and the dishes were carefully prepared. The atmosphere is welcoming thanks to the very helpful staff and the large fireplace where the meat is roasted.
