25/08/2024: I had the pleasure of having lunch today at the Casa del Gusto restaurant and the experience was extraordinary. We started with a cutting board that to define as wonderful would be an understatement: each ingredient was displayed clearly and impeccably, creating a spectacular and unique sight. The first courses were a real delight, with attention to the smallest details, with refined and genuine flavours. which combine homemade tradition with a touch of originality. Finally, the hot hazelnut cake was the grand finale: a dessert that alone would be worth the visit. All this at an incredibly reasonable price, only 25 euros each for starter , first courses, dessert and drinks. The service was perfect, with the right timing and a convivial atmosphere that is rarely found. A place to definitely return!

18/08/2024: Walking along the Corso di Caprarola, we wanted to try this restaurant and, given the improvisation, only internal tables were available. Given the outside temperature was not the worst we accepted, unfortunately the absence of air conditioning made itself felt. To start we had two appetizers, baked scamorza with truffle flakes, very good and the truffle on the plate was excellent and plentiful, a portion of fried aubergine meatballs in tomato sauce, very soft and good... an excellent choice . We wanted to end the evening with two first courses, a fettuccine with white wild boar ragù and a picio all'amatriciana...unfortunately the evening took an unexpected turn. Both dishes were a little dry, the fettuccine with ragù was too dry, as was the amatriciana sauce, too thick and slightly dry. A real shame because the quality of the pasta and the wild boar meat was beyond question. We are quite convinced that it was a bad night. We will definitely be back to try new dishes. Sin.

07/12/2024: Excellent pizza, light and digestible dough, excellent seasoning, a good pizza even when cold!! The wait at the table is enlivened by a nice package of strips of hot white pizza!!! Good choice of wines and light bill!!! Well done!!

04/12/2024: Given that we are frequenters of the place, and we have always had a good time. Except for the last time, we heard the older waitress handing over the service of our table to the other one, who completely abandoned us and served us with an air of arrogance. I find the behavior inappropriate for professionals. Not to see each other again.

18/11/2024: The best place visited!! Delicious food with abundant dishes, served at the right times, different choice of first courses, second courses and side dishes and above all desserts. Clean bathroom both when we arrived and when we left, the place was full and we stayed for about 2 and a half hours. Dogs are welcome and provided with water bowls. Friendly and helpful staff

10/11/2024: Splendid restaurant-farmhouse in an idyllic setting a few steps from Lake Bolsena, with a first-rate gastronomic offer. Worth mentioning are the homemade fresh pasta first courses and the wild boar stew. Net of the TheFork discount (correctly applied), the prices are not exactly cheap; but it can be said that in such a context it is money well spent.

21/11/2024: A very respectable place for lovers of beer, natural wines and good food! Cristina is courteous, ingenious, full of ideas and not only when it comes to beer; so much taste and courtesy! It is the right place to spend an evening with friends or in the simple company of an excellent beer.

15/11/2024: Very informal place and resting place along the Via Francigena. We stopped on our motorbike coming down from Tuscany along the Cassia and it is definitely a place to keep in mind for next times. Both indoor and outdoor tables, fast service, homemade pasta and homemade sauces. Homemade desserts.

03/12/2024: Amazing experience with the open buffet! I could have just done with only the buffet and not eating the primi and secundi, though they were also excellent. The place is a bit hard to find and get to, but well worth it!

24/11/2024: Enthusiastic about the experience, both from a culinary and hospitality point of view. Excellent quality products. An assortment of buffet starters that has no equal in terms of variety of ingredients and preparations. Top notch cured meats and cheeses. Wide selection of wines and shop to purchase the farm's products. We would need a buffet-only menu proposal to be able to enjoy it all!! Highly recommended, a reason to return to the area!

24/11/2024: A RESTAURANT OF EXCELLENCE, IT STANDS OUT FROM ALL THE OTHERS FOR VARIOUS REASONS, THE MANAGEMENT OF THE PLACE, the highly qualified staff, the friendliness of the same, the perfection in the presentation of the dishes, and their performance was perfectly coordinated impeccably so I can say THANK YOU DA RITA'S RESTAURANT IN MONTEFIASCONE. To conclude my review I want to add a little thing, if I were to advise people; friends, relatives, acquaintances to give good advice to enjoy an excellent restaurant, DA RITA IS THE EXCELLENCE of eating well. And I urge you to try it, I will definitely try it again

22/11/2024: Weekend passato nel borgo di Vitorchiano. Locale piccolino ma caratteristico. Personale gentile e cordiale. Attrezzati per il senza glutine. Porzioni abbondanti. Tagliere medio con affettati, formaggi di cui uno al tartufo, bruschette con crema di peperoni, ceci con aceto balsamico, fagioli cannellini con tartufo, nervetti al limone, tortito al tartufo. Porzione senza glutine a parte per evitare contaminazioni. necessità di avere anche fette di pane senza glutine. A seguire abbiamo ordinato un caciocavallo fritto con farina di mais radicchio stufato e miele (non possibile senza glutine). Come primo un risotto alla zucca e polvere di liquirizia (sapore molto particolare), pappardella al cinghiale. Successivamente una porzione di guanciolo di manzo al barolo e castagne. Tutto molto ben fatto, carne tenera. Piatti ben conditi. Prezzo onesto. L'unica pecca è che effettuano due turni il primo dalle 12 e il secondo turno dalle 14. Bagno molto piccolino. Se capitate nelle zone di Vitorchiano consiglio questo locale.

20/11/2024: Locale da caratteristica fiaschetteria, senza troppi fronzoli ma con cibo di ottima fattura, per qualità, per abbondanza e per presentazione. Utilizzo di molti prodotti locali che sono garanzia di freschezza e genuinità. Eccellente l'accoglienza da parte del personale. Ottimo il prezzo. Unico neo il dover adeguare la consumazione del pasto rispettando l'orario del turno scelto alla prenotazione (due turni: 12.15 e 14.00) ma ne vale comunque la pena.
