08/02/2026: Rude I won't comment on the food, which I presume is excellent. Two of us showed up with a baby a few months old, and we were told to wait, saying a table would be free in half an hour. We returned after a while and were told that the people at the table had already reached their second table. So we waited outside for another twenty minutes, asked for an update, and were told they were at the cafe. After another fifteen minutes, the waitress came out and told us, verbatim, that she was sorry, but the gentlemen had no intention of leaving the table, so they wouldn't let us sit. Something like this had never happened to us in over 15 years of frequent restaurant visits around the world. We're not that bad; let us know why you didn't want us.

25/12/2025: Just returned from Christmas lunch with my daughter. The welcome was unparalleled. They greet you with a "welcome to our home." The service was impeccable, and the fried porcini mushrooms were delicious, light and flavorful. The inevitable Canepinese hay with truffles, and larded rabbit, all divinely delicate and delicious, not to mention the desserts. In short, I thank all the staff, the owners, and the very knowledgeable and kind waiter. I just found my favorite restaurant!

17/12/2025: Sunday, December 7th. The place was packed but well-organized! Excellent service! Excellent vegetarian and vegan options, just as catering should be in 2025—INCLUSIVE! Given the attention to detail and the care taken with the dishes and the use of raw materials, the price is more than fair. Recommended! ❤️

01/03/2026: We had a great time. The place was cozy and quiet. There was plenty of space between tables, so reservations are required. The food was very good and local. The girl taking our orders was very nice. Excellent value for money.

02/02/2026: Appetizer served on a meter-long board filled with excellent cured meats and cheeses. For starters we had a plate of ombrichello and two of orecchiette with artichoke sauce and pecorino romano. Fresh handmade pasta was delicious and plentiful, and the second course was a sample of baked potatoes that were spectacular in their presentation. Finally, we finished the meal with dessert... babà with cream and the golosone (similar to tiramisu). The host is attentive to the customer, as is the girl who serves the tables. Prices are very fair. Everything was perfect, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended, as is booking if you don't want to find yourself without a seat.

12/01/2026: Excellent restaurant with unmatched value. Excellent food, the bruschetta with lard and porcini mushrooms is heartwarming, and the pappardelle with wild boar in white sauce is among the best I've tried for the texture of the pasta and the flavor of the sauce. Small bottles of wine are rare. The courtesy and prompt service are also noteworthy. The bathroom is impeccable, with a brush and stain remover also available.

11/01/2026: Well-kept restaurant with beautiful paintings on the walls, very good and refined food, above all we were happy because they are very prepared for gluten-free dishes, I forgot we were at dinner and with us there were two dogs and there were no problems in accepting them in the dining room..

A lovely restaurant with a typical Tuscia menu, but with a focus on the raw materials, impeccable service from all four waitresses, and prices affordable for every budget. Highly recommended.

03/01/2026: For our first dinner of the day in the area, last Sunday we dined at Ciccio alla Capannaccia, a charming country trattoria located near Acquapendente and winner of an episode of Alessandro Borghese's "4 Ristoranti" in 2016. It offers a wide-ranging menu of local cuisine (including several off-menu dishes) using top-quality ingredients. The restaurant is welcoming and the service is very friendly, with the owner, Ciccio, being truly charming. After choosing our wine, an excellent Sangovese Thybris 2023 from Castello di Corbara, we began with pici carbonara with black truffle and pici "alla Ciccio" (mushrooms, sausage, wild fennel, and pecorino cheese), both delicious. We then shared a tender Mangalica pork fillet with baked potatoes. Finally, desserts included a mascarpone cream with almond brittle and a Nutella panna cotta. A water, two coffees, and two liqueurs were kindly offered, bringing the final bill to €96 for two, which is extremely reasonable. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to return!

02/01/2026: Ristorante da Ciccio in La Capannaccia is a place you absolutely must try. The welcome is incredible: it feels like family here. The menu is meticulously explained, both in detail and in its preparation. All the dishes are enticing, but in the end, unfortunately, you have to make a choice. The appetizer is delicious, the fried dishes and the trio of artichokes are amazing. The pizza, leavened for 48 hours, is a true delight for the palate. The first courses are excellent, but the meat dishes, prepared with culinary expertise, are especially worth trying. Here, you should relax and let yourself be guided in choosing quality products masterfully prepared. You don't come to Da Ciccio for the location or just to eat, but to be pampered and enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable experience. It's been 10 years since he won on Alessandro Borghese's show, but Ciccio's cuisine has steadily improved over the years and today it is considered a true Italian excellence to be enjoyed and preserved. Bravo, Ciccio, you're a genius!

08/12/2025: We called on the morning of December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, to make a reservation for the evening: he opened for us! Carlo, the owner, is spectacular. Exceptional hospitality Delicious food Highly recommended. We'll be back for him.
