13/07/2025: First course: linguine allo scoglio, very well made and delicious. The appetizer was good, but I had a small complaint about the octopus and potato salad (too much celery and not enough octopus and potatoes). The service was excellent, with very friendly waiters, especially the owner's son, who offered us a delicious shortino (a pasta dish made with licorice and herbs) (not at all heavy or light). The atmosphere was great.

12/07/2025: Excellent traditional Roman dishes. A welcoming, family atmosphere! Fast, friendly staff! I recommend it for an evening of good food and good company.

18/10/2025: It was raining that day and I couldn't get a taxi. I finally walked to the restaurant, but the waiter wouldn't let me sit down and insisted everyone should be seated first. He also said that wearing shorts was not in line with the restaurant's rules. The food and wine were not cheap, even though it was a Michelin-recommended restaurant.

14/10/2025: Delicious food but a bit strict on reservations The food at La Ciambella was excellent, with portions even bigger than expected. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The reservation process, however, was quite complicated and almost made us cancel. There were many checkboxes to confirm, especially about kids and the tasting menu rules. We did not feel completely comfortable at first with our two kids, even though we had a separate table. Once we ordered a bottle of wine, the atmosphere relaxed a bit. We understand that a family of four is not as profitable as a table of adults, but still, a bit more warmth would have made a big difference. Overall, the food was very, very good and worth trying.

12/07/2025: We ordered the red pinza, margherita and a focaccia all good with excellent quality products and very digestible dough and excellent cooking (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside). Congratulations! Highly recommended.

18/10/2025: The place is pleasant and affordable. It has a wide variety of ingredients. They don't have a menu, but the pizza is displayed, as they sell by weight (gm), so you can order various flavors and slices; just choose and take away. You can even eat right there. The staff is very friendly. We were served by Stefano and his son, very nice people who can speak Italian and English, and understand you, as well as Spanish very well.

31/07/2025: I got takeout pizza for a business lunch. Excellent pizza! The service was impeccable, courteous, and helpful. These are rare qualities these days. Congratulations!

19/10/2025: We visited this bakery on a Sunday morning around noon and found a line, about ten more than ours, but the wait was short thanks to the quickness of the staff. There wasn't much choice of pizza: white, red, with mozzarella, and with potatoes. We ordered the latter two. They were very good, so thin and crunchy. Then we chose the tozzetti for dessert, very soft, sugary, and with just a few almonds, completely different from the ones we're used to in Tuscany. Overall, we had a great time.

23/09/2025: Place where you can find excellent home-made baked goods. The pizzas, both white and red, are delicious and always hot. Excellent for a mid-morning snack or to take home to enrich lunch. The staff is always very helpful. I recommend it for anyone in the area

20/09/2025: Wonderful experience for a relaxing lunch by the sea ❤️ A delightful surprise, a small, well-kept, and unique place on the beach. Exceptional food, including a must-try homemade Sicilian cannoli with honey and salt, at more than fair prices. It will surely become a favorite.

12/10/2025: A fairly quick lunch, with simple first courses. The waiter was kind and efficient. The problem was with the final payment, when not only was the cover charge added even though it was no longer possible, but more importantly, the dishes ordered/received at the table and their prices were changed. Totally unprofessional behavior that we let pass only because it was already semi-ridiculous to see someone deny the truth for a few euros more. We definitely won't be returning.
