08/10/2025: Everything was delicious. I went for dinner with friends and we ordered three kebab pizzas and three fried foods. The pizzas were super filling and delicious, with excellent value for money. Ahmed, the guy who runs the place, was great. I should point out that besides the kebab, there were many other options, such as deli, pizza by the slice, fried foods, round pizzas... in short, the food was really good.

01/10/2025: One man machine, we went in for take out order. He was super busy, but service was friendly and relatively quick for one guy and the amount of orders he was taking. Very impressed. Good job! We were staying at the hotel around the corner and needed a quick dinner. This was definitely worth the stop and the pizza 🍕 was great 👍

20/10/2025: I booked through Google, but when I showed up at the restaurant, a very unpleasant guy told me the restaurant was full and sent me away. If you leave reservations online, you have to organize yourself. And there are ways and means of handling unexpected situations. Zero empathy.

18/10/2025: We were looking forward to it after the good reviews. Unfortunately, we had to leave the restaurant because the waiter was very rude - we had to pay for the water we hadn't touched. And therefore didn't get to taste the food

11/10/2025: highly highly recommend stopping in here for a local beer and some conversation with the owner who also was our bartender. he was such a nice guy who brews a few of the beers on tap. we stopped in after the vatican tour as it was just a short walk away

12/07/2025: Lively and unconventional theater The theater is very charming, with an intimate and evocative atmosphere. The auditorium is welcoming, with good visibility and acoustics. We saw Hybris with Antonio Rezza: a beautiful show, completely unconventional, captivating, and original. A perfect example of the bold, unconventional programming that characterizes Il Vascello. We had a wonderful evening, enjoying quality theater and an environment that truly fosters the artistic experience. Highly recommended for those who love lively, experimental, and unconventional theater.

13/09/2025: Excellent Lo Zio d'America coffee shop inside the Castoro supermarket. A refined atmosphere despite its supermarket setting. There's also underground parking, free for 90 minutes with a minimum purchase of €10. Excellent coffee and croissant. The barista is friendly and helpful. I recommend it and will be back!

31/10/2025: We had gnocchi and pizza. Without a doubt, some of the best gnocchi I've ever had, the sauce was amazing, and the pasta was spectacular. The pizza was also fantastic. If you can, ask Eva to bring her hot sauce—it's incredible! The service was superb too. 10 out of 10, I would definitely go back and recommend it.

21/09/2025: A relaxed evening with friends. The dishes were very good, especially the stewed octopus. The pizza dough was excellent, truly flavorful. I didn't have the courage to order the paccheri alla Meid in Sud because they say it's for two, but it's actually for four. The desserts were excellent, ranging from baba, cheesecake, and so on. The only downside was something dry to pair with a passito or sweet wine.

21/09/2025: Unfortunately, it's extremely negative. We've known the place for many years, but since the management changed, the restaurant's quality has fallen below par. Unfortunately, this has been observed on several occasions, as it's possible for things to go wrong. But if, after repeated experiences, the quality is the same, it's no longer a bad day, but a way of operating. The place is nice in its simplicity as a local tavern, certainly not overly sophisticated, but what makes a place pleasant is the food and the people who serve you. If even these are missing, the soul of the place is certainly missing. There's no zero star; otherwise, I would have given it zero stars. I feel sorry for those who work there every day and want to continue their business, but this comment should encourage you to do better or look for another business other than catering.
