Our group of six had dinner at Al 31 Osteria on the recommendation of a friend in Rome. We had a wonderful meal! Everything was outstanding and was made even better by the great service. Our waiter was Georgio, and he was delightful. We enjoyed ourselves greatly and highly recommend al 31 Osteria.

I ordered a meal that said it came with spaghetti, when it arrived it was a fillet of sea bass in tomato soup which was barely warm, it was €18 on menu but somehow I was charged €24 euro when the bill came, we never asked for bread but the waiter put it on our table, we assumed it was complimentary but it was another €6 in our few days in Rome it was the worst meal we’ve had, would not recommend at all!

Food excellent. Enjoyed all of it … but a bit disappointed with wait staff’s light pressure for larger cash tip Do not leave more than 5-10%.

Very friendly and helpful waiters. The carbonara was delicious. The music was very tasteful (Beatles and similar artists). The place is cozy and the artwork is very original.
