I discovered this place by chance with my boyfriend. It's a small but cozy place, away from the chaos of Via Tiburtina—let's say it's a bit hidden. Prices are fair and the quality is good. I had the tagliolini with lobster, and they were really good. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied. We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant is pleasant and intimate, with an indoor dining area and an outdoor seating area on the sidewalk for those who enjoy al fresco dining. The atmosphere is familiar, with absolute peace and quiet, and soothing background music playing to create a relaxing atmosphere. It feels like you're not in Rome, near the chaos of the busy Tiburtina, but in a fairytale set in a small, sparsely populated village. The innkeeper, as well as the host, moves expertly among the tables, paying attention to detail, offering advice, and serving customers with kindness and care. In the kitchen, his wife turns out dishes that are each better than the last. From appetizers to first courses and second courses, you're spoiled for choice between fish and meat, all beautifully plated and delicious. Even the bread is highly appreciated: soft and irresistible, you can clearly tell it's better quality than store-bought, and it's actually homemade. The desserts are also freshly prepared and served, absolutely fresh and delicious. The prices are pretty much in line with the market, but the food here is truly excellent, so I find them well-justified. The street is a bit hidden and the area is crowded, so get there early to find parking and make a reservation. Casetta di Marzapane is definitely a place I would recommend. Cheers!

Gianni is a valuable expert in both cuisine and wine and expertly recommends the perfect pairings for your chosen dishes. But the highest compliments go to Marzia, the chef!
