02/12/2025: Nice food albeit a little expensive. However when we visited on a November Saturday evening we were the only customers so no atmosphere. Maybe it's a different experience on a warm summer evening.
18/11/2025: I've been in Rome for several days and have tried all the "trendy" places. This wasn't on my list, but I went in because it's close to my hotel and… Surprise!!! It's the best meal I've had in Rome so far, highly recommended. It's not a fancy place; you can see that time has taken its toll, but the food is spectacular and the service is friendly and welcoming. The carbonara was 100%, the saltimbocca was too, and the tiramisu was 100000% 👌🏼

Restaurant "La Vittoria"

19/11/2025: The restaurant delivers what it promises. Well-served and tasty dishes at a fair price. We went twice. It's next to the Vatican and seems to be the busiest in the area. Many waiters to serve the many tables, but the service is high quality. It gets 4 stars because I think a pasta restaurant should have a pepper grinder; it adds more flavor than a pepper shaker (chili powder). They charge a cover of €2 per person.
17/11/2025: Nice lunch spot for a quiet Monday. The dishes were tasty and the staff was kind. Prices were fair, around €10–€14 for a main, and the portions were generous.
I ordered the bolognese, good flavour, though I added some salt and pepper to boost the taste.
The other plates on the table were also really good, so overall a solid place to eat.

20/09/2025: Excellent place to get a good gelato. A wide variety of flavors at a very fair price. Plenty of space to sit, either to wait your turn or to enjoy it at your leisure. Plenty of parking. Don't be alarmed by the line; they've found a great way to keep it moving so you don't have to wait long.

13/11/2025: What happened to the music? Haven't heard a rock record yet. That kind of takes away the concept and the fun. And the name doesn't make sense anymore... Drinks and such are fine, but don't stay here with this music to eat.
11/11/2025: The food is really good; you leave the restaurant feeling full and very satisfied with everything—the service, the restaurant itself, and the great atmosphere. But what matters most is that the food was delicious.

16/11/2025: I decided to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday here. I went blindly, having never been there before. I must say it was a more than good decision. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home, and the quaint setting and excellent food complete the picture.
Recommended
15/11/2025: A small Roman restaurant with very few seats. The food is Roman-style, good but not excellent. The spices, like chili pepper, need to be changed every so often; they were so stale that adding them to the dishes ruined everything. The prices are high, as it's not in the center of Rome.

15/11/2025: You have like 16 craft beer options to choose from. You can close your eyes, walk up to the bar, pick a beer at random, and you'll still have a fantastic beer. The best selection of beers I've ever found; craft beers that are never boring, always excellent, and constantly changing. A quiet place where drinking great beer is a top priority. If you're a craft beer fan, you won't find a better choice anywhere else.

07/12/2025: I went there with my wife and her friend, all from Pordenone. The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially Patrizio, who was always ready to offer advice on all kinds of things, including local shops for clothing. The place is clean, typically Roman, not huge, and always crowded (though we always found a seat). The food was good, consisting of typical Roman specialties. During our stay in Rome, it was the best value for money, so much so that we returned three times in four days. In my opinion, it's the best in the area. We'll definitely be back next time we return to Rome.

07/12/2025: Driven by my Spanish girlfriend's desire to try a scampi cream risotto, we chose this restaurant in Anzio. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different.
The risotto was disappointing: the rice was still hard, the creaminess was almost nonexistent, and the dish overall lacked authentic flavor. For €20, I would have expected higher quality.
The cooked appetizer was decent, but the presence of some fish bones in one dish further compromised the experience, putting us off ordering more.
I didn't try the other dishes, which certainly deserved better, but based on what I ate, I wouldn't return. It's a shame, because I expected a higher standard from Anzio.
21/11/2025: A particularly elegantly organized champagne evening, apart from the top-quality champagne, the dishes are unrivaled, very fresh fish combined with enchanting and unexpected Mediterranean flavors. Well done Emiliano, and thank you.
